T-Shirt Treasures, Creating Heirloom Hooked Rugs from the Humble T-Shirt

The way the author transforms the humble T Shirt, it’s not so humble after all. I found this to be a delightful book turning what used to be my source of paint rags into a palette of color for what I hope will be a unique and charming rug. The instructions are presented so clearly and are inviting me to get started. All I need is a few more T-shirts! Judy Taylor’s love of rug making is downright contagious! Besides many images of her own rugs, the book is filled with photos of beautiful rugs made in many parts of the world by other artists as well. T-Shirt Treasures is indeed a treasure!

This is a great resource for rug hooking with an alternative material. Photos, templates, and great stories of rug hookers from around the world enhance the practical how-to.
