Q: What is the piece that goes below the head rest for?

That piece is removable hand rest. It is used when client is laying face down on the table, they can lay their hands there instead of hanging them from sides of the table. Please keep in mind that piece can be removed from face cradle since it is detachable.

Q: Does it rotate while it’s in a sitting position? So you could either have the guest facing you your the guest facing the other way?

The chair itself will rotate however that is done manually. The only electric is up down and so forth
