My cousin loved these boots.

Right on fit. Broken in and comfortable after first day of stomp'n around. Look great. Dead cow (leather) smell not offensive and almost gone on day 2.

I have wanted cowboy boots for more than 40 years and I finally decided to get some. My biggest concern was not being able to try them on before ordering a pair, but Amazon makes it easy to return them if they don't fit. Well, these fit great and I will not be returning them! I'm absolutely stunned, because I thought they'd be painful or stiff or some other issue, but right out of the box I love these! The color appears consistent, but I do see minor flaws in the manufacturing process (A crack is beginning to appear on the sole at the bend.) My feet, which I think are slightly on the narrow side, are very comfortable and it feels like a glove. I consider this an entry-level boot because of the price and quality. They probably won’t last forever, but I work in the city and live in the suburbs, so they are perfect for my lifestyle.UPDATE 28 November 2022: I loved the black cherry ones so much I bought the black ones. Everything is the same as above. I feel really fortunate to have gotten these and the price is great!

had been looking for a pair of boots for a while, these looked like my last pair which were very comfortable. very pleased

Well to start let me say this. It's my fault, I thought I could fit in a smaller size. So I'm normally a 9 in boots butter, since o got this from Amazon warehouse for a steal. I'm like, "hey, I have an ariat size 9, and it's a bit big. Maybe an 8.5 will be perfect. Plus it's a steal spoon likeeee why not?" I think thought. Well, turns out I'm a size 9. Because to hear we're so painful to use. Omgg. Maybe I should stick to my size. But still, quality is good, and the design is great. Otherwise the boot is sickk. Will get another pair that is actually my size.

I’ve owned and worn many brands of boots in my nearly 60 years. Without exception, my Dan Post have been some of the most consistent in good fit and excellent wear. I’ve had several “expensive” boots that did not give me the same comfort, wear, or quality as my Dan Post boots. A few pair have lasted me over 20 years (resoled). For the money, it really is hard to beat these boots…you can spend a lot more money, but why would you want to? Find the right fit for you, then wear them like they were your only pair…you’ll see when they break in…outstanding fit and comfort!

The boots are a great color, an antique brown I guess you would call them. The leather smell out of the box is amazing. Good quality for the price. Most of the reviews and even YouTube videos say that when buying a Dan Post boot, buy a half size smaller than what you usually wear. However, every time I do that, the boots are too small, so I always get my exact shoe size which is 8.5. I like to wear dress socks with my cowboy boots. Lo and behold, they are a bit loose with the dress socks. I tried them with a pair of regulars sweat socks and they fit much better. The problem with boots, or any kind of footwear for that matter is that you don’t really know how the fit is going to be until you wear them-a lot.I have only worn them for three days now and they were not full days of walking around. They could be slightly more snug I feel. But I also feel that an 8 would have been too small. I might try the old trick of submerging them in a bucket of water for a few minutes and leaving them out in the hot sun for a while which helps to make boots smaller. I did this with a beloved pair of Double H Harness boots that I had the same exact problem with and it worked, they now fit perfectly and that is a much thicker leather with a rubber soul. Nice trick if you want to try it.I will be buying Dan Post boots again. I would probably go a half size smaller this time.

Arrived punctually. A handsome, well-made pair of boots as Dan Post always are. They also don't need 'breaking in.' As soon as the sole leather softens they fit like a glove - another benefit of buying Dan Post boots.
