This looks great but was a pain in the rear to install. Required cutting and fitting. End results are worth it. Took me about 2 hours to install from start to finish. I used a dremel to cut out the area leaving the center bar in place. It is a support beam for the grill. I would not remove it. Needs better instructions but great product!

This thing fit perfectly, no gaps. It wasn't quite as easy to install as I expected just because of the tight spaces in the back but install took less than 30 minutes. Looks much better than the stock grille.

i loved the look of this grille. Kind of a chore cutting loose the old grille but it was very worth it. Fit was excellent,as the brackets provided were just right, only minor shimming was necessary.

Quality product but the instructions made no sense at all . May as well have been written in a foreign language ...confusing and not clear at all . Other wise once I figured out how to mount it .once installed it looks great and seems strong . Also listing said it was matte black it wasn't bit plasti dip handled that .

Once installed this 2pc grille insert kit looks outstanding! That being said as others have pointed out the instructions are absolutely worthless. I was able to successfully complete the installation based on simple visualization on how all the parts fit which isn't too difficult. I have a 2003 tahoe and the factory grille has black plastic grates in place of where these billet pieces will be installed. This must be removed first. The good news is its one piece. There are tabs on the chrome shell that pass through slots on the black grate piece which are then melted together. Getting these apart was a major pain. There is a bag full of brackets and screws that are needed to install the billet pieces and this is my biggest gripe. None of the pieces fit to your grille in any particular fashion and your essentially just trying to eyeball it in a fashion where you think it centered. Then you have to drill holes most likely off angle because the grille itself is an obstruction and fastening the brackets is a challenge because they're almost impossible to get at with a screwdriver. My point is even through base level engineering it would be possible to make this thing one piece and not have all the brackets. I would pay double or triple what I paid for this if that was the case. Anyhow, I got it installed and it looks fantastic. I just feel bad for the person who doesn't know what they're jumping into and end up scrapping the project part way through.

Great fit for my 2000 Chevy Silverado! It is easier to install taking off the grill, which is pretty easy after watching a video on youtube. Junkyard wanted double the price for a used one! This was an easy fix after I broke the grill by hitting a Pheasant. As others have mentioned you need to cut your old grill out to install these. Instructions were not very helpful, but if you are any bit handy and take your time, you can do a great install.

They look great. Took a little to figure out how to put them in (30 min. install time) but other than that it was good. Have to drill a few holes so be prepared. 1/4 drill bit.
