100' Chetco Zip Line Kit w/Seat & Carabiner

The media could not be loaded.  We bought this as a birthday gift for my son. We live on an acreage property so we have plenty of room to deploy this thing. I choose to sink and 8x8x12 ft post on the hill where our garage sits and use it as the starting point into a tree line that is adjacent to it. Once we got the pole situated we strung the line. It is heavy gauge cable so use a come along, we used our tractor to pull it taut and secured it with cable clips. The rest is easy and the kids love it. The only thing I have to do is make a platform on the post so they can grab the line. Right now we either use a ladder or we lift them to swing. Also, invest in the spring stop for the end. See in the video if it were not there we’d have problems! If I lived in a wooded area, I’d buy these and put them everywhere. Quality is good, a little pricey but worth it!

Great product!! takes time to install and you should!! To avoid safety issues. If you are getting longer than 60’ get help to tension the cable or attach to the back of riding lawnmower or the pick up truck hitch like I did helped a lot cause I had 125’ long cable I will post pics of it my son loves it. By the way get an come along. Great product!! Awesomeness is right!!

I have no experience with zip lines, but I think it's a nice package for home use. It seems to be well made and the kids like it. I made tree protectors using short pieces of 2x4 and a router. I also made a brake system using two pieces of wood and 1/2" bungee cord.

If on an incline you will need a different breaking system. Because my daughter hit the block and it flung her off like a rag doll. Got the spring stopper and harness. Problem solved and no more injuries.

Good product but price seems out of range for what you actually get. It should come with brake and spring stops for the price.

Works really well. The wooden bench is amazing. Difficult to set up though
