It is exactly the same as stockworks great and the fit was perfect.

Was sent a bad alternator.
Bought this in Dec for a Samurai I only use in summer, after I replaced the battery thinking that was the problem.Put it in, but battery was still draining. Didn't think a new alternator was the problem, so checked wiring, belts, looked for parasitic draws, etc. Nothing worked, so I ended up taking it to a mechanic who said he thought it could only be the alternator. Sure enough, when I tested it, voltage output was 12.3 with engine running. Only a 30 day return policy, so I'm out $85.
