Handy addition to my workshop tools
Quite a good versatile bench top device. I forgo the screwdriver mechanism for this teeter type. Very simple to use and this is the second one I purchased. Clamps the work well and just right for producing right angled joints

Really useful!
This has been so useful in achieving right angles when I've not had an extra pair of hands to help me. It's been worth the cost for one build alone, I'll have to dream up future projects in order to use it again.

Had to return them. Not square.
I thought these would be good, but it was actually they were terrible. I know, I sound like one of those angry-at-the-world Amazon reviewers; I'm not. I test clamped two pieces of thick flat ply up against one another (as one would, say, when building a cabinet) and the action of the clamp pulls them out of plumb. Some reviewers have talked about using shims to counteract this. Why bother? These clamps' one job is to hold things square. They don't perform that task. I tried two separate clamps (I bought four) and both had the same defect. Oh and the photo makes them look like anodised aluminium; it's actually claggy paint.

perfect for my needs but why so expensive?
wish I'd invested in these years ago. They are sturdy and perfect for holding two pieces of wood together at the corner. I love them. But dang they are expensive!
