HALO RA5606927WHR 90 CRI -2700K RA Integrated LED Recessed Adjustable Gimbal Downlight Trim, 5" & 6", White

I’ve tried many retrofit downlights in the search for LED can down lights that were comfortably warm with good color. Couldn’t find anything we were happy with, so I shifted to bulb searches. Finally found bulbs from Bulbrite, but nothing that fit gimbal or eyeball trims for wall wash. Then I decided to try the retrofit route with Halo gimbal and wow. CRI 92 and 2700K offers great light and strong build quality. Smooth operation and pretty, too.

I bought two different styles and brands and this is the one the electrician to install. We used it in front of the fireplace so we could tilt the light towards a picture. We had the old eyeball light and this really cleaned up and made it much more modern looking. Took him even 10 minutes to install it!

Replaced old incandescent gimbal fixtures with these LEDs. Easy to install without having to remove the old can housing. Only gave it 4 stars because I am a little disappointed that they only dim to about 30-40% max brightness and I wanted a little more subtle wall wash effect on my fireplace at night.

I hoped to replace a light on a high slanted ceiling above the fireplace, but there is a joist at the center and the back part of this light was too deep compared to the one that fits there now. Return policy was too short, by the time we got to that step in our fireplace remodel, the return window was closed and I'm stuck with two lights I can't use, unless I cut 2 new holes on either side if the joist and add wiring, which is more $$ than I wanted to invest.

The lights look amazing and were easy to install. Only downside was that they didn't come with the housing needed to install them, so we needed an extra trip to Home Depot to get these. I think at this price, it would have been better to just include those with the lights.After install we are very happy with the result and the color of the light is nice and warm. Works perfect with a Lutron smart dimmer.

I looked for quite a while on Amazon and went with these. They cost a little more than some others but I liked the look of the adjustable part better. They look great and were crazy easy to install. I put 10 in in like an hour. They are super snug to the ceiling too; I’ve installed some retro fit led’s and they don’t quite snug up but these do.

The electrician had it installed in less than a minute! Just took out the lightbulb, screwed this in and popped it back in!

Dimmer switch (proper for led) has never worked better. I had no problem installing and pointing the light right where I want it. These are very nice. I have 3 of them. Very likely to upgrade 3 older 4" lights to the comparable model. Packages arrived a day early.

This light was a perfect replacement for our traditional pot light. We needed something that focused more light towards a corner of our dining room while still illuminating the table and a quick adjustment of the light it was perfect. The cover around the light moves easily and can be adjusted to change the light in every direction. Easy to install if you know what you're doing.
