Perfect for Outdoor Installations
Be aware that this is a disc detainer lock with three disks, like 27 combinations, and keys are out there. But unless you have something a professional wants, they arent going to open this. Wow: great choice of materials and design for difficult outdoor environments, mud, water, dust, dirt. The lock wont jam. Lots of reviews of this on the internet and YouTube.

Broken 3/8 inch Sargent and Greenleaf environmental padlock
Bought this padlock in November 2019. Worked great for 8 months. Then one day I closed the shackle and turned the key to lock. To my surprise the key was then stuck in the lock and I could not reopen the padlock. I had to cut both sides of the shackle to remove the lock. I did honestly like the lock up until this point but now I am very disappointed. I tried to submit a ticket to Sargent and Greenleaf directly but haven’t gotten any reply. I thought that the brand Sargent and Greenleaf was a very reputable brand but now I am not sure that is the case at all.

Absolutely rock solid padlock
I am using this padlock with my outdoor shed, and I am extremely impressed so far. It is hard to get the key into it, but that's ok because it means that someone cannot pick it easily. It is a very solid and extremely well-made lock. Highly recommend!
