Nice to have a spare on hand
This wasn't the easiest job to do but after watching a mobile RV mechanic do the first one, I was able to do this one. Another reviewer mentioned finding water in the motor as installed on their Winnebago RV. I also had a couple of teaspoons of water in my old motor in our Winnebago M/H. The old motor had the spring holding it in place where the new one was designed to be held by a bolt. With a metric allen wrench I removed the base plate of the old motor to refit the new motor to use the spring. You'll get excellent service support via phone if you call Lippert.

Good motor
The motor worked great as a replacement except our specific RV has 2 motors that are required to be changed at the same time. This repair happened but not without a few bad words.

IT works!!!
The reason I titled it works!!! this is the second one I bought. The first was from EBAY...PEOPLE BUY NOTHING FROM E-BAY, THEY HAVE FLY BY NIGHT COMPANIES SELLING, THEY DO NOT SUPPORT OR BACK UP YOUR PURCHASES...E-BAY SUCKS, THEY NEED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS, SELL OUT, AND GET RID OF THE FLY BY NIGHTS THAT SELL ON E-BAY...Ebay still owes me $186.00..Doing business with Amazon is a totally different experience. You know the product will work and amazon supports the buyer. This was an easy take-off and easy installation. I noticed the reason my old one stopped working is water got into the motor. It was a poor design by winnabago, I hopefully corrected the problem.The weather has been poor here in the Northwest. I did a quick fix...when it warms up (if it ever does) I will do a permanent fix.

This is an aftermarket motor. I only purchased it because it said it was Lippert OEM. It is not.
