Merkury Innovations Smart WiFi 720P Camera

Decent little camera. They say it will not show video if you point it outside because of the camera light glare which is extremely easy to turn off. I've caught cats humping, bumps bumming, and prostitutes... well you know. Hahaha. It works well but trust me when I say, buy a 32 GB storage card for it. And every 24 hours re format the card. This will wipe it of the garbage it recorded the day before. Or buy a 64 and clear it every 2 to 3 days.

Pro: small so doesn’t take up much space.Picture is clear and sharp. Even the night vision image is clearer and nearer than most.It leaves a screen shot when it gives an alert, so supposedly it will provide a picture of who/what it sensed and alerted you about.Inexpensive as far as home cameras go.If I am home on WIFI I can easily check On my phone the living room camera to see who is moving around, night or day.Alerts can be turned on and off.The blue power light can be turned off So as to not attract attention at night.Con:if you are out of the house, you have to be on WIFI to be sure that the camera’s image will load onto your phone so you can monitor movement or alerts, or just check on the room, if you are not on WIFI You likely get a message that it failed and you see nothing.The motion tends to freeze rather than stream when you check in to see what is going on.Although it does take a screen shot of the room when it has given a motion or sound alert, there is a delay so you likely get a picture of the room after the person/thing Has passed by, not of the person/thing that set off the alert, unless they take their time and are moving slowly.I get frequent sound and motion alerts, even when there is no one home (no pets around), or no one in the other room.

This is a great buy. Bought this one for my nutrition club and just recently bought another for our home. Love to control it via app.

Easiest cameras to setup, and use. Plus easy to pull up on my phone to check in on my kitties. Went through a few cameras before finding these simple, easy to use ones.

Great camera for the price. Easy to use and it has everything I need to keep an eye on my pups when I am not at home I can even talk to them which is amazing but confusing to them :)

The camera came in a plain box and was not in the orinal box they come in. When pluged in the red light came on would not flash (searching for wifi signal). The clear protective plastic on lens was missing. Appears it was a used or nonfuntional camera.

I currently have a Swann brand surveillance system at my home. I bought the 4 camera setup 2 years ago on black Friday at lowes for $300. It is a nice system but the wifi and remote access is complicated and inconsistent. The hard drive (DVR) unit is loud and obtrusive.I was at Walmart and saw this camera for $25. It doesn't really say anywhere on the packaging if its indoor or outdoor but I thought I would try it in place of the aforementioned Swann products. Setup was super simple and installing the app worked flawlessly. I completed the setup in 10 mins and never got stuck throughout the permissions and/or compatibility process. I am using the galaxy note 9 but any phone will do. My wife's iPhone X ran the software just the same as mine.The quality is 720p which is HD. Not the best but keep in mind that the higher the quality the more storage it will need and bandwidth it will hog. 720 is actually my preference anyway. It has audio and a speaker for my voice to pass though to the camera. The night vision is every bit as good as my "professional" Sawnn system.If you want to record, you tap the record icon within the app. Boom! It's now saving to my sd card on my phone (by default).It really takes quite a bit to impress me. This is one of those products that does. That's why I am sharing my experience.I thought this with my own money and am in no way affiliated with the company that makes 9r sells this product.

Awesome for the price

This was a great little camera for a couple of weeks until it quit working. I ordered a second one and it’s never worked.
