Ok, I reviewed this hibiscus product a few weeks ago and I never heard back from the company and I have a pound of this Hibiscus and wondering what I was going to do with it. It tasted so salty that for me, if it was sodium, it would be dangerous for me to consume. NOW THE UPDATE. It isn't sodium I'm tasting, come to find out. A friend of mine told me that I'm making the tea too strong and that Hibiscus tartness can sometimes taste like salt. I use less Hisbiscus and more hot water. It balances out. It is fine. The reason I gave this company 4 stars instead of 5 is only because had they contacted me or emailed me I probably would have known this sooner. I was about to throw out the entire pound. The product is good. The communication could be better. The price is fair enough for the amount you get. I would order it again but I hope they will reach out to me and help when I have a problem.

I got them to do drinks/ cocktails. So far I have mostly only made tea. I could probably do a simple syrup from there... Maybe just make it stronger... But I'm not sure you can use the actual flowers once they've been rehydrated. But maybe if you don't use boiling water? To me they don't look appetizing after they have been boiled, but my compost bin seems to like them.

These are the easiest hibiscus leaves to use.Steep them for 15 minutes, strain,Sweeten them and add them with whatever you want. II especially like them added to Lemonade, Powerade, And other juices.It taste great and helps lower your blood pressure.

Wonderful full, dried flowers. We've purchased multiple times. Would be nice to have more information on the packaging: Business contact name/info. How they are grown (i.e. free from chemicals, etc.). Any information to help the buyer better understand the product they are receiving.

I came across this by accident from a friend who was drinking this and tried it and I liked it. I immediately ordered it once i researched a little about this product. Do your research and you might be intrigued. The taste is good but when I add a few drops of stevia it brings out the taste even more. The best thing is it's natural and good for you.

These are great for making Hibiscus tea! We add lemon, ginger, mango and honey to sweeten. Serve hot or cold!
