Acidanthera Peacock Orchid Bulbs - 5 Bulbs Very rare and beautiful Flowers

Love these flowers, some i bought last year were puny little bulbs and didn't do well, these were very healthy bulbs are are growing everywhere I planted them and I can tell from the size of the plants coming up that they will be large ones as the bulbs were.. I know from experience that once they bloom in late June they will flower until December here in Florida even in our heat. Very fragrant too.

Bulbs arrived in spring planted them no blooms almost August doubt they will flower disappointed.

So far none of these have sprouted. If they grow I will update my review. Packaging was good and shipping was fine.UPDATE: Finally got 4 of them to grow so updated my star rating.

seeds are all dried and dead. Should have placed in a moist container rather than just a box

Yes they aren't rare in the least, just not as common anymore as they were in Victorian times... You can buy them at the grocery store for $.50 a bulb or any Home Depot ... Attract a lot of attention from people because not everyone has seen them and they smell fantastic ! Great vertical foliage better than floppy grasses, in a pot ....don't bloom until late July early August though so plant them for their greens and where you want height

I really just wanted to say that these aren't rare, I've purchased some from Big Lots before, however they bloom beautifully!
