Pretty excited with how this came out. Was nervous to try it but turned out well. Did about 2-3 coats of the purple base and then 2-4 coats of the flake. The flake did clog up in the nozzle on occasion so that was kind of a pain to deal with but still got the job done. Figured doing this instead of powdercoat would make more sense if I’m able to touch it up. 1 can of each (base/flake) got me through all 5 beadlock rings with a little to spare. We’ll see how it holds up wheeling

If you are looking for a professional classic awesome looking flake paint job look no further. Lil daddy roth is hands down the best. And best price as well. I Use it to paint guitars. It is so great and professional it looks like it came right from the manufacturer. For those writting reviews it sucks, expecting it to be purple paint and flake color, the flake is only purple flake in translucent clear. You have to put the matching or darker base coat on first then spray the flake over that. Then a cleaŕ to finish it.. Like you see in the review picture of people who know how to properly use it. Just go to roth metal flake website and they tell you and show you how to properly use it. You will not regret it.

Shook the can for about 15 minutes. Sprayed a coat which came out clear, repeated the process about 3 or 4 times, and all I got was a clear puddle of paint... No purple flake what so ever.....Screw this, and these people wouldn't even talk to me about a refund!!!!!

Finally got this out and tried it. If you are looking for a classic metal flake look, this isn't it. This is clear paint with the microscopic purple glitter smaller than grains of sand. Completely without use.
