This is a fantastic book! The story is very simple, but the illustrations and features of the text are what make it so wonderful. There are pullout pages and details everywhere you look! The story of Bambi makes up parts of the background elements. The illustrations are super bright and bold. Simple story. Artistic illustrations. Will definitely share this with my students in my classroom.

This might be too advanced for little ones since it’s using figurative language. I wanted something with more structure than something artsy. I agree it is simple for a read aloud but might not be practical for struggling readers.

I love this poetic take on books and reading them, the author did a wonderful job; however, the illustrations and inconsistent text (large and small, differing fonts and colors) make it very difficult to read. My book-loving daughter even opened it and put it back down once she began reading it. Just not as accessible as I’d hoped.

The words jump out and speak to you! The book is unique in expressing a colorful and poetic way to read a book. The illustrations are one of kind! This book is worth purchasing!

Saw this and HAD to have it as an addition for my personal collection to read to students. I am a media coordinator and reading a book is an important skill. Pictures are beautiful, colorful, vibrant. Content is meaningful as well. Love the book!

I love this book and the illustrations are super bright and eyecatching. It's a great picture book for 2nd or 3rd grade to talk about the importance of reading.

My nephew loves this book! Makes a great gift for a baby shower, christmas, birthday, or just because. Help instill the love of reading from an early age!

Creativeness

This is excellent , great in the classroom and very popular. The illustrations are outstanding too. I will never get tired of sharing this book.

Not what I was expecting. It has beautiful illustrations but not a book for children to read or for you to read to them.
