Boils rapidly
I received my little pot today. I cooked a mince meat stew in the pot. I found it to boil very rapidly. It is supposed to have 2 settings, one I assume fast boil, the other more of a simmer. The 2 setting both boil rapidly. The meal came out nice but I was just in time for the liquid not to boil away. It boils so fast that is the danger. I would not cook a chicken thigh stew on the bone, because it boils so fast, perhaps the chicken would not cook properly. Chicken breast would be ok in a stew. It would be very good for stir fry's and stews with meat that does not need a lot of cooking, Eggs and bacon would be ok with lid off. Other than that the pot is quite handy...........UPDATE..I have now been using my pot for a few months. I have got used to it and would not be without it. I have done the egg and bacon in the pot, scrambled egg, omelette..Salmon. I have done prawn and chicken stir fry's. Steak and onions. Porridge, cut up chicken breast soup. Sausage and onions etc. Nothing sticks to this pot. I wish that other pans were the same. I have good none stick pans, but eventually the inside discolours and loses its non stick value. My pot looks like knew still. It is very easy to clean. Unplug it, put a little water in with washing up liquid in, gently clean, no effort, empty, then fill up with water to rinse. Just pour the water out on the other side of where the socket is on the pot so as not to get any water in. Other times just wipe around with a damp cloth. UPDATE AGAIN... I felt as if I had to give another opinion on this little pot..I do not understand the negative results. People are saying that their food has stuck in the pot, and the non stick came off..I can honestly say that I have had this pot over a year now, and had no problems with it at all. I have cooked scrambled egg in this pot among other foods with no fat, and the eggs just glides off the non stick coating onto the plate. As for the plug. I have had no trouble with that either. If you buy the adapter that goes into the wall socked, this plug will fit with no problems..Just a little tip for you all.

Very neat efficient little saucepan.
Very impressed so far with this very neat little pan. We needed something small to use in our tiny temporary kitchen space whilst the builders were in. Immediately it's impressive in its finish and overall appearance. And the plug is correct for the UK.As a blind person what is also a real plus is that the outside stays cool whatever the temperature inside, and the operation is very cimple; put the lead in the hole, and then a rocker switch to full power or half power. .the non stick inner lining failed on the first cooking and there was some burning which took some effort to remove, but the non stick lining is unimpaired and since then it's been fine. We've cooked a chili in it and rice. so far.The lower setting does seem to reduce the amount of heat but perhaps not by very much which i think is why we got a bit of burning the first time.I think you just need to keep an eye on things and stir regularly if you are using it for anything other than boiling water for rice or pasta etc. It's a perfect size for the two of us, and although we haven't used the steamer yet it will enable us to cook enough vegetables in one go for a complete meal.I find washing it a bit tricky as you can't immerse it due to the socket for the wire, or so I'm imagining as the instructions are all in Chinese as others have said. But it does clean up really easily. It was delivered in a day and comes with little additions of chopsticks, wooden spatula, plastic rice spoon and bowl and a couple of scourers.this alongside our Remoska oven is keeping us fed very well during our renovation work, and so far we couldn't be happier.

Good Value but difficult to wash.
I only used this once so far and have no issues as described by other seller. This is the product that allows you to do a hot pot session for up to 2 people and it is very sufficient on heating up my broth. This is not that type of product that you can cook a whole meal in without having to monitor it. I think the down side is that it has only got 2 options for cooking, even i chose the lower setting, my broth still boiling quite a lot. However, as long as you monitor this while doing hot pot and just turn it off when is enough, there is no problem at all.I only give 3 stars also because it is quite difficult to wash this without getting the base wet.

Cute and functional
Did came with manual and english translation. Water heats up quite quickly for hotpot. The product itself is hot and my favourite part is the outside doesn't get hot and I do not have to be worried about being burnt.

Take care
To be fair it does what it says on the tin (in chinese!) but I wouldn't leave it unattended. The plug as mentioned is very small and I doubt meets british standards, you cannot remove the electric base so it's hard to wash (unless how is mentioned in the Chinese instructions) The settings hot and not appear to be the same so things easily burn if you dont take care. However used carefully it's a great peice of kit when you don't have a kitchen for three weeks, it opens up a whole range of meals.
