A Must Have Accessory
Being able to get my Pocket and other cameras over head height has often proved useful but the poles I used could be cumbersome with some form of phone clamp fitted plus a mount for the camera. This purpose made pole looked worthwhile but at a high price. Now I have used it I think it is well worth the price and a great addition to my Pocket kit.The whole thing seems well made and the length is enough to reach over heads or use as a selfie stick. The phone holder easily takes my iPhone XS Max and the fitting for the camera was at first sight a little basic but I then found the pole actually locks onto the camera's phone adapter. The next part of the set up was to connect the phone to the camera and here I thought I had a problem. On my DIY rigs I had been using a lightning extension cable with one end plugged into the iPhone connector on the camera and the other to the phone but of course the iPhone connector on the cameras is now used to connect to the extension rod and links to the handle buttons. I did not want to buy the DJI wi-fi adapter as its something else to take battery power and another expense but other reviews said it could be a cabled connection. Eventually discovered that the power connecter also takes data and a half metre lightning to USB C cable is perfect for the job. No playing with wi-fi or adding weight to the camera. Just plug the phone in and it opens the DJI app ready for use. I am guessing that as the camera is not using power to send wi-fi and the phone is not using power to receive it the cable solution should increase battery life on both camera and phone. Not tested this though. In use I am impressed. I have been in the habit of controlling the camera from the phone screen but the buttons on the extension are so much easier. Initially slightly confused as I assumed, wrongly, that the button numbers shown on the description in the tiny user guide would refer to the numbers on the diagram. They actually refer to hard to see printing on the buttons and are different references. Once I sorted that out the only problem I had was one button which cycles through three operation modes but with the camera screen blank the phone screen did not seem to show the mode, which was a real nuisance. Finally found a small icon on the lower right of the phone display which when clicked brings up a box showing the mode. The box stays in place until turned off unless you touch the screen again for another reason and does not get in the way of viewing so solves the problem. My conclusion is that this is a very worthwhile addition to the camera. Not for use all the time as it rather defeats the point off the tiny pocketable camera but its not huge and not heavy so good to have around. My only minor reservation is that its battery can only be charged via the camera charging socket. How hard would it have been to fit a socket so it could be charged while the camera was in use.

Absolutely awesome, it's not essential but it's great piece of mind!
Awesome but if kit to store and charge your Osmo Pocket. It gives it extra protection, moreso than the case it comes with out of the box.Keeps charging the camera when inserted and the ease of use when plugging in a USB C lead, only takes an hour or so to fully charge and it's just a great little contingency when travelling. It's only a bit bigger than the camera itself, it's a nice sleek design, it's not without it's minor flaws but when you weigh up the Pro's and Cons of just keeping the camera on it's original out of the box case, it just gives you piece of mind. The camera itself is awesome in many ways and is prefer to keep it safe with this charging case is in added layer of protection.

All great, except for the memory card not being read by the Osmo
Three out of four, parts of this package are great. The controller works as expected, making certain movements and activities easier. The body clamp/clip/mount works as expected, letting you attach it to a tripod and more. The wireless adapter works instantly and easily. However, the memory simply would not be read by the Osmo.I work within IT so know how to check the issues. When inserted into the Osmo, it continually warned "error" and to replace the card.It works fine in a PC and other devices.I formatted it twice, once quickly and once slow.No change.I tested a larger, same brand, memory card in the Osmo and it was read without an issue. It required a format but otherwise works fine.I was fortunate to have bought that not long beforehand, to have it to use.I can only conclude the supplied memory was either faulty, in a way that uniquely impacts the Osmo reading it, or the card itself is not compatible with the Osmo, which would seem daft.Unfortunately, I can't find a way to contact the seller, to only ask the memory card is replaced, instead of sending the entire package back, which I don't want to do.

... It works ...
Can't pretend I'm not bitter about HAVING to buy this from DJI to add functionality that really aught to have been built into the unit... buuut, you know... it is what it is. It feels nice and solid, actually a lot higher quality than I'd imagined, the jack port has a satisfying click and the plastic doesnt feel like it's going to fall apart on you... but wow, DJI... what a d***k move making us buy this just to get a mic input that means we cant use an external powerpack or your own brand of handle/selfie stick. You really dropped the ball with this on what would otherwise be an AAA product.

Expensive But Worth It
Really this is a pack of essentials to get the most out of your Osmo Pocket - the wireless adaptor making a good stand for doing motion lapses with and the control wheel for precision pan and tilt of the gimble.I have the new control joystick that got released with the Osmo Pocket 2 as well but have gone back to the wheel as its silent in use where as the joystick is noisy in use and gets picketed up by the internal microphones. The current £69 price tag on Amazon seems to be fair for what you get the £99 full price is just too much.

Brilliant
No other audio adapters work for the Osmo pocket so I had no choice but to get this. It’s expensive for what it is but the internal audio on my pocket isn’t working properly I desperately needed an external mic to work. This adapter allowed me to plug a lapel mic in and add commentary to my videos

Not for Pocket 3
Very deceiving order name. This is for the original DJI Osmo Pocket - not the Pocket 3. The name was clearly intended to deceive, as they called it the "DJI Osmo Pocket Part 3"Hopefully they respond, as since it is not fulfilled by Amazon, you need to go through hoops to get it returned.

Amazing
I used this with my DJI pocket to film a guerrilla documentary my homentown of West Philadelphia. Unfortunately when my parental figure saw said documentary. She took in a terrible fright and relocated me to a more affluent location living with her sister and sisters husband.

Fantastic Filters
Needed filters for my DJI pocket one and these worked flawlessly. They came in a nice case that keeps them protected. Would recommend for anyone who needs to block out extra light when filming.
