Equaide - Proud Flesh Solution (5 Ounce)

I keep this in my med cabinet at the barn. It is for those rough cuts. I use it with oral antibiotics. It adheres and forms a great barrier. The insert shows lots of nasty cuts and tears and the product lives up to its promise. Now it takes time and you will go thru a couple of jars depending on the injury but my vet turned me on to this and it has not let me down.

I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of the mud rot on my horse. He's had it for a year now. I had an old container of Equaide from when my horse had scraped some skin off, and I saw it was good for "scratches" so I tried it on the mud rot. I've been using it about a month now, and the mud rot is almost gone.

Tried the rest, still the best for healing Equine gaping or proud flesh wounds with little to no scar. Easy to put on and horses don't react like it is hurting them. Did better at healing a wound that had been stitched and kept bandaged and the moist wound edges ended up dying off and stitches came out. After 2 months of bandaging and huge vet bill and having the proud flesh cut back by the vet , I decided to give this a try even though the wound was huge. After only 1 week you could see an almost 50% reduction in size, after one month it was 75% reduced in size and had that nice clean red look to the wound after being hosed.

Love this product!! This product has healed some nasty wounds on my horse and my dog. Any proud flesh that started to grow peels off when this product is applied. I love how it coats and dries on the wound keeping flies off and no need to bandage. Thank you for selling this wonderful product. I'm a customer for life.

Seems to work but slow healing.

Still the best for wounds on horses and dogs. Protects from flies and dirt too.

Equaide has worked really well on my horses open oozing melanomas. It dries them up better than any thing else I have used. It also works great on cuts, sores etc. This is a awesome product.

This is like a mud mask that seals a wound. I've been using it on a near heel bulb amputation. EQUAIDE has prevented proud flesh and the wound is closer to being closed up and healed.
