Finally...
The selection for cases for this great tablet over the last couple month's have been rather slim, and basically it was between a slim case, or a folio type case as the choices. I ordered 2 slim cases and a folio, and I was disappointed with both, because I wanted a little more protection for my tablet, and also a better grip. When I saw a posting for this appear on Amazon for this case, I thought "finally a case I want". I had to wait for it to become available to ship for some time , but when I finally received it , I can say it was worth the wait. This case is similar to an Otterbox case, (dual layers of protection) yet lighter. It isn't as bulky as one would think, and it feels well with a really good grip. (I haven't dropped test it yet , nor would do so intentionally , but it definitely seems it would hold up nicely) I also find it to be nice looking. The stand on the back is a nice addition, although it reclines back a little further than I would like, but nevertheless it is a good feature to have. If you want a "real case" for the LG G Pad, then look no further.

When you are buying a protective case, make sure to measure your mobile device to ensure it will fit.
As described, the product was supposed to fit an LG Pad 8.3. Stamped on the back of my LG is ZNFVK815. A google search indicates this is an LG Pad 8.3. My LG did not fit inside this case. Had to return it. I liked the back stand, but did not like that it could only hold your tablet on its side, and not long way up.I have had an excellent experience with the Origami Case for my Kindle Fire. Why can't Amazon, who manufactures Origami cases for its Kindle line also manufacture Origami cases for other tablets as well? Also, I did not measure my LG to ensure it would fit ahead of time. The Blaison line of cases provides measurements. If the LG had fit, I would have used the case.

Good case for the money
Good case for the money, it fits well and seems like it will keep the tablet relatively secure. A standard two layer hardshell under rubber sleeve, there is a good amount of what I would call "flex" in the case itself, as opposed to a more expensive case like a Griffin Survivor (which feels like I can run over it with a car). There is no screen protector, so if you want one you will have to look for one separately. This case will be ok for everyday bumps and drops, but if you want something to keep your tablet safe while outdoors or in a harsher environment, I recommend you invest in a more robust case.

Opening on the top of the case for the headphones ...
Opening on the top of the case for the headphones do not allow use of headphones. Case opening is not centered on the jack location for the LG G Pad 8.3.

An Excellent Case - LG 8.3
I was a little nervous about this, to be honest, but my fears were quickly put to rest. The case is nice and snug without pinching, and I've actually dropped the tablet a couple times accidentally since putting it on, and there have been zero issues. If I were to buy a second tablet, I would buy this case in a heartbeat.Quick note: There is no built in screen protector (a la Otter Box), so you'll have to get your own, but I've had no fit or pinching issues with my ArmorSuit screen protector combined with this case.

Not too bad
Amongst the million or so cases out there, it's difficult to choose the perfect one. I chose this case because I wanted grip...hence,the rubber surround. And a way to prop the device up. Both requirements were met and do a great job. The rubber is a bit smooth upon opening but wash it like a dish to remove molding residue. The fit is excellent but you will need to remove the rubber from the plastic case which is a 2 part step... Remove rubber , seperate plastic case to insert device and put back together. Not a pain but figure any buyers should know this. Hope this review helps.

Comfortable but flimsy feeling.
My primary reason for putting a case on my LG G-Pad was to increase the gripping area on this slippery tablet with narrow bezels. This case satisfies that requirement. However, the case feels light weight and flimsy. It creaks when you hold it and flexes and twists easily. Even the rubber part is somewhat slippery, not as grippy as a silicon rubber case. Still, this is the simplest and thickest case that I have found yet.

Like the case
Like the case.Got this so the little one can use the tablet. Definitely protects the tablet well on drops.Just recently, the kick stand broke off. There's a very small plastic tab on each side of the kickstand that slides on a track. One of the tabs broke off causing the stand part to come off its track.
