There is something very peculiar about this Himalayan Green Tea. This is my second purchase, and this time the tea is completely different. Previously, this tea was quite strongly fermented: dark, with a distinct bitterness. Now, however, the tea is pale green (finally looking like it does on the packaging), has a delicate ‘grassy’ flavour and suits me much better, as it tastes like delicate green tea. Two purchases – two completely different teas.

Bad color, bad taste I have ever had in a Matcha tea. The fresh Matcha tea is brighter green, this is the brownest I've had. Taste: the bitterest Matcha I've had. It's apropriate to say, bad quality. I will avoid this Indian company. You are not honoring India. Give a bad name.

I like this tea. the tea has a good flavor. i would call it 'mild' so i brow it strong and stew it well.(because that the way i like it not necessarily recommending you do that also) its hard to over stew it. and if you do it dues not get too bitter witch other green teas have a nasty habit of doing all to soon. i would not say it the best green tea iv ever had, but i lived in china for 3 years and consider my self to have had some truly excellent tea in my time. although note: i am just a tea enthusiast not a connoisseur! i can say that this is a good tea, easy to make with out spoiling it. it has a very pleasant flavor. i am currently drinking it every day. and would recommend it to anyone. especial for some one who just want a descent green tea and is confused by all the different kinds out there!

I like the zip lock bag although it can get messy when you are nearing to the bottom and have only few spoons left. It has a beautiful colour and great taste. Nice quality. I know the whole matcha ceremony prep and the utensils used but I usually go very modern way slaughtering the beautiful tradition and zen - I put a teaspoon in with hot water and cold coconut milk and spoon of honey and blend in vitamix for a few seconds so it’s nice and frothy. Creating matcha cappuccino style.

I’ve purchased this brands matcha a couple years ago, it was rich and had matcha flavour. This time I ordered two packs and it was disappointing because the colour was pale, the matcha has too little flavour. Probably wouldn’t purchase again after this

It is nice loose leaf green tea but the amount of packaging is way over the top. Just a bag of leaves in one box would suffice.
