Super light, and it works
Edit: Now that i've gone camping a couple of times, i can honestly say that these are serious knee savers. Whenever kneeling down for campsite work, setting up the tent and putting down the guy lines, trying to build a fire after digging a hole when you need to blow on the tinder to make it light well, or trying to cut into a fallen branch to gather wood, the difference these guys made was awesome. These el cheapo knee pads are great for cushioning your knees without adding weight to your backpack. There are a lot of things in my backpack that i can do without now that I'm getting to know what's needed and what is just wasted space and weight, depending on the type of camping i'll do, and on my second camping trip, i left many things behind. But these are so valuable and make suh a huge difference, I'll never go camping without them. ------ I didn't know much about knee pads and never gave them a second thought. Recently tho, while watching youtube videos of backpacking, I realized that there was a lot of work that was done on your knees including tent setups, making campfires, light firewood work with a hatchet, etc. etc. So I wanted something that would take some of the pressure off my knees but wanted something super light to carry in my backpack. Are these the most comfortable knee pads in the world? No. Are they the most stable? Nope. But they are padded enough to make a world of difference when doing low-to-the-ground work and are light enough that the can go in my backpack without adding weight. The curve of the pads around the top of the knee and the straps to keep them on means working around the campsite without having to think about them too much. At this price, I imagine they won't last forever, but they sure come in handy. One of the best buys I've ever made.

Stay put, so cushy. Saved my knees!!
I actually bought these months ago for a specific project. (SomedayโsomeDAYโI am going to scrub clean all my baseboards.) I have one of those little pads, but it is a pain to move it every time I move. I liked that these would move with me. When I got stuck having to scrub a stain out of my shower, I remembered to try these pads. They are GREAT!! They stay on/in place very wellโeven though I had to keep getting up to walk around and try to find a better cleaner. By the time I finished the cleaning (thank goodness!), every part of me was in pain except for my knees. I barely felt the floor at all, and when I was aware of my knees it was because I felt like I was kneeling on a soft cushion. I will say that the Velcro straps *might* not be long enough for someone with larger calves. But these pads are designed in such a way that it would be exceedingly easy to slip the current strap out and insert a longer piece. Also, these are not really heavy duty. If you work outside construction and crawl around on rough surfaces all day, they might not hold up very long. But for household work, theyโre well-made, cushy on the inside, but firm on the outside, easy to clean, adjustable strap that stays in place, and definitely worth the money!! These were

Good for garden or outdoors chores.
Fiskars Ultra Light Knee Pads are excellent for any number of outdoor chores requiring you to be on your knees whether it's gardening, pruning, fertilizing, repairs to fencing or a host of other tasks. In the product pictures, they looks like they have a hard, outer shell but do not. The whole pad is relatively soft with a tougher coating on the front and a flannel-lining on the inside for comfort. These preformed pads are correctly curved to fit your knee and upper shin. The pad material, though soft enough to have a little "give", are very tough on the outside. These can take a lot of abuse. The elastic, Velcro-fastened straps fit me just fine and I'm a little shorter than average so they should be able to fit a wide variety of sizes. I use these often in the garden, in my orchard, using my chainsaw, etc. and have performed quite well and I have no complaints. I think I would have preferred a hard-shell on the outside as I believe they would last longer that way, but on the whole, these are very good knee pads and I recommend them with four stars.

Light and Comfortable
Great knee pads for men and women. Highly recommend. This is my second pair.

Does the job for a low price, best for light duty or occasional use
These do the job, which is protecting and cushioning one's knees. That said, if you work every day, and especially if you shift around on your knees a lot, you'll want to spend more. These have only a single strap fastening them, so they tend to shift around easily. If you pick up your knees when changing position it isn't as much of an issue. Otherwise, you'll need to pay attention. On the other hand, unless you spend very long periods in one place, these are a better alternative to a kneeling pad. These are made of relatively lightweight foam, so I doubt they'll wear well with a lot of abuse, but they've been fine for work in my crawl space, where the surface is bare ground covered with a plastic drop cloth (with the occasional rock).

They last quite long.
Simple to use, light weight, stay in place and donโt travel out of place. Iโve worn out about 3 sets and just love them. Very comfortable.

Ok knee pads.
They did the job for me. I only used them to apply oil to my natural wood flooring. They were ok for this small job. But if I was going to use them often would prefer to have some with 2 straps on each knee pad. They did slide down onto my shin as I moved about, so that got a bit annoying as I had on rubber gloves and had to remove them to pull up the knee pads. At least I didnโt end up with scraped up knees , as has happened in the past when not wearing knee pads !

Good value for my aging knees
I was looking for pads to save my knees while kneeling or crawling around in the garden/etc. I made the mistake of buying more bulky pads first thinking they might provide better protection from rocks, but those constantly moved out of place and were generally uncomfortable. I got these hoping they might be a little better thinking 10 dollars was worth the risk as I'm aging and my knees don't enjoy the hard ground as much as they did in my 20s. So glad I did. These provide good protection for the gardening chores I do, they are quick and easy to put on and take off (and comfy enough to mostly forget while wearing them) and they actually do a surprisingly good job of staying in place for me. For reference: I usually wear these over a pair of jeans. I'm hopeful they last a good while as well but only time will tell there.. at least for this season they have been a great purchase and I am only sad I did not get these before wasting money on that different style of kneepads that didn't work nearly as well as these.

Works better than more expensive pads
I have spent way more money on the pull on type knee pads that are not NEAR as protective as these are. I have gravel walkways around my raised garden beds, so kneeling on gravel to tend to my gardens is out of the question. I'm 68 and being able to garden pain free is a priority for me to stay active and curious. These are super easy to strap on, the elastic band that goes around the back of your knee is strong and secure. After a few hours, however, the velcro closure is irritating to the back of the knee. I solved this issue by rotating the velcro closure part to be on the outside of my knee. Highly recommend this product. Excellent quality at a reasonable price.

Great for small women gardening!
Bought these for my 68 year old mum who tends to her decent sized garden. She has small but average legs and these fit her well. They are made of stiff foam with a water sealed edge. Very light weight and stay on over pants well. She says they are amazingly comfortable and help her with kneeling on all kinds of garden surfaces.

Arrived quickly and pleased with this purchase.
I bought them to attach to my knees to help me get out of the tub. Worked well. I had both knees replaced and normally can't kneel but these enabled me to kneel enough to get out of the tub.
