Great light!
I’ve had this light in my aquarium since August, I love all the different colors, the ability to dim/brighten the colors, the strobe feature is cool too. I’ve had it both submerged and not submerged, the suction is great so no issues there. I have some glofish and glow in the dark accessories and the dark blue color does illuminate them. The only con I can think of is that there’s no manual way to turn the light on, only the remote will turn it on/off. My remote malfunctioned and I was unable to turn the light on. I reached out to the seller and they were kind enough to send me a replacement remote and my tank is looking great again. I would recommend this light for a cheaper option than what you would find at your local pet supply store, the price is definitely right! And the light is good quality.

Amazing Colors - easy install.
Light bar worked great for our aquarium. Light is bright and has water proof housing. The one we got (27”) has 40 LEDs, creates lighting across entire 34” tank. Remote is directional but works well for changing color and intensity. Suction cups mounted to plastic lid of tank without any problems. Very pleased so far. Wish the color changing mode would be slower or could be adjustable.

Happy with Purchase but a few minor issues
I was a little skeptical purchasing these, but I can't tell you how happy I am that I did. I posted a few photos with the various color settings and that's not even half of the colors you can do. I have a 60 gallon tank so I installed 2 of the 19'' lights, each of which come with 3 suction cups. I'm not usually a big fan of the suction cups but these are super strong. I have 2 folding glass coverings over my tank and the lights suction directly underneath them, it actually came out great. Cons: I only have a few minor issues with these lights. The remote control doesn't have the best distance and since my lights are plugged into the outlets under the tank, I have to open the bottom cabinets in order for the remote to detect the IR sensor next to the light's plugin. The remote has a few settings on it where you can click the "blinking" button, but I wouldn't recommend it unless it's only a planter tank, otherwise it will probably harm your fish. I was really hoping it would have a setting where you could set the lights to SLOWLY change from color to color but unfortunately these do not have that feature. Otherwise this would be an easy 5/5 rating. In summary I would recommend purchasing these lights if you are trying to change things up with your tank. Hopefully in the future the company will install a feature that offers the colors to slowly change. 5/30/19 Update: the seller reached out to me in response to my review above and it turns out there is an option to put a slow setting on the changing colors. I tested it out and it does work, however I wasn't very impressed because it doesn't do a cool fade from one color to the next, it kind of just changes over instantly. I'm still very happy with this purchase though, the lights are working great and the fish love it!

Perfect, great price, and love the bells and whistles!
I was upgrading my betta and his little snail friend from his 3 gal betta setup to a little 7.5 gal bow-front tank we had stashed in the attic. Aquarium, check; lid, check...lights and filter...no, and no. I wanted to make this all as inexpensive of an affair as reasonable, and just couldn't justify the $35+ lighting options at stores locally. Fortunatly, I found this little gem of a light on Amazon. It's easy, it fits, it seems durable and secure, and it was NOT EXPENSIVE!!!! As a cool little bonus, I can play with the lighting a lot, depending on what I or my little aquatic residents want or need. If I'm migraine-y and the "regular" lighting on my little beside aquarium seems too bold when I'm trying to hide from the world, I can soften and dim it, and switch it to a gentler hue, so my eyes get a break, but my fishies (the betta and snail now hves a few tetra friends that they get along nicely with) get their proper lighting. At night, I switch it off with the flick of a remote, and back on as easily in the morning before my feet hit the floor. We might get them in on the Christmas spirit and put it all in green on Christmas Day. I love it! I will say that I'm not sure how they'd like the flashing setting, so I'll spare them that, but I do think that the variety of lighting options are handy. I also noticed that you sell replacement remotes-- wonderful! I'm strongly considering buying some proactively, because my 4-year-old son loves my fishtank and related stuff WAY too much, and tends to go by the mantra of "what's yours is ours," meaning that I don't trust the remote to stay on my bedstand and out of his little hands, which are known to take things to all sorts of unpredictable places (I must track down the little net, while I'm thinking about it). Anyway, great product, great price, and I'm REALLY happy with it and how handy it is.

Great, but needs better instructions *read review
After about an hour of trying multiple outlets, installing and uninstalling the light twice and going crazy with an intermittent working remote I realized the problem. The instructions sucked! You have the light and the attached wire. That wire goes down & plugs into a box. On that box is a second 3" extra wire with what looked like a tiny electronic plug? Then the large wire continues down to the large plug for the outlet. Nowhere on the paper instructions does it say that the 3" wire is actualy the sensor for the remote. Most people have the wire going out the back of the aquarium and the entire plug is kept hidden. Simply, just point the darn remote at the 3" extra wire! I was so frustrated, lol. But now everything works fine and the light selection is beautiful. Hope this saves someone else's sanity

Great little light for the money!
More colors and modes that I'll ever need - but they are there and work perfectly! The suction cups work like crazy, and will keep the fixture attached to glass. I deliberately got a light about 1/2 the length of my aquarium for gentle lighting, for my Beta. At full intensity, this is a nice, moderate light in his standard five gallon glass aquarium. The light can be turned down to just a soft, dim twilight too. The remote works perfectly, and produced an amusing side benefit. The aquarium is in my office, and I play soft music on my early generation iPod Nano, in an older iHome dock. When I got the iHome dock, it was used, and I never knew that it had originally come with a remote control - until I accidentally turned it on with the aquarium light remote. Now I can turn on and off both things in my office at the same time! LOL! I'm very happy with this little light, and will use this same size in a rimless nano cube with a glass cover - and I will get the larger sizes for m big aquariums. They will look great providing illumination from angles that would not be possible with fixed location lights.

Great, Cheap Aquarium Light
TL;DR: Great, cheap light with suction cups. I have the Top Fin Bettaflo aquarium for my baby boy, and the lights and filter both died out within a month. The tank’s lid is really frustrating, so this was the best decently-priced lighting with suction cups that could fit on the inside of the lid. The lights are really thick and round instead of thinner and flatter, but it’s a small price to pay for decent lighting on a budget. Part of it does stick into the top of the tank water due to its size though, so I’m glad it’s submersible. They’re pretty bright lights, and I love that you can change the colors. One of the light blue settings looks beautiful at night. You can even have a little fish disco/rave with the flash/fade/smooth options on the remote. My old tank had this really pretty soft white light that made my betta shine in photos. This light has more of a blue white light, which isn’t the best for closeups (but that’s a dumb personal preference of mine, and it may only be due to having the darkest fish ever).

Nice light but doesn't last
Update: 5 months later and this all but broke and I didn't even have it in the water. Just shines super dim now and had to throw it away and buy a different one. This stick saved us so much money, time and effort. I personally don't use this inside the tank, but it is on the back. A replacement lid with lights for out tank was gonna be about $90 so this came in clutch. It is SO BRIGHT. I have it on a smart plug and it works great. Only worry is that since it's IR Remote, my neighbors car key fob turns it to strobe, but this is entirely a unique to me situation, a little tape to block input and I'm good. I think the strobe/flash option is dumb for a tank light, but the options are like any other LED lights. Definitely worth it for what I needed.
