Harman Pellet Stove Igniter Replacement 3-20-677200, 15-Fin, 310W, Fits Accentra, P35i, P43, P61A, P68, XXV, 52i, Made in USA

I recently purchased a new home that came with a Harman pellet stove. After using it a few times successfully, the auto-ignite feature stopped working. I'm the type of person who will do a ton of research into these types of things and after a thorough cleaning I determined the igniter was the issue. I found a video from Pellethead on YouTube which detailed how to change the igniter yourself, so I canceled the service call I had scheduled (which would have cost me around $300 for the part and labor). I had to wait a few days for the igniter to be in stock (your support chat was great at keeping me informed!) but after a few days I was able to purchase the part. It arrived quickly and in great condition and after a few minutes taking things apart I had the new igniter installed. I loaded up some pellets, configured my settings and fired the stove up. The new igniter worked so quickly that I was floored - when we first started running the stove with the old igniter it would take a number of minutes before anything happened. We've been running the stove every day since replacing the igniter. Thank you for the great price and the knowledge to assist in helping me to replace this part myself. You saved me a lot of money and I am extremely satisfied. I will absolutely look to Pellethead for any of my future needs when it comes to this stove.

It’s great works like it. Should they last a long time?

I thought my cheap igniter I purchased at the beginning of the heating season was failing, it would no longer light. I figured I should buy the OEM version and found some forum recommending Pellet Head which was nearly 3 times the cost of my old one but figured it would be worth it to get years of use. Once I received the correct product (I received the wrong product first but I believe that was an Amazon error) I installed it and it failed to light. I then tried again a day later and it worked. Then it wouldn't work after that. The pellets were warm but not hot enough to combust. I found I had some char built up in my fire pit but all the scrapping and checking of my gaskets could not get this igniter to work. I called support and they gave me the electrical characteristics which the igniter did meet. However, it only pulled 2.3 amps consistently which at 115v is only 264w. For a 308w igniter brand new to only pull 264w I think is the problem, dumping unburned pellets into the ash bin. I then reinstalled my old igniter and check its current and it started at 2.7 amps (310w) and then eventually down to 2.5 amps and has ignited every time since I reinstalled it so I'm returning this for a refund and will go back to my other supplier.

This is a replacement for our harmon p43 that lasted a couple months shy of 10 years ,the original harmon 1 went out & caused the 6 amp fuse in circuit board to blow, seen this on Amazon & reviews were good so we purchased this 1 lights our pellet stove faster than it used to looks like original but a better on price & fits in cradle no problem, hopefully this last a long time & continues to give us long lasting service. Wood definitely recommend.

Update: I contacted the vendor regarding the 1-year no-hassle warranty, because I purchased the igniter about 10 months ago. The vendor honored the warranty as stated, with no hassle. While I am disappointed that the igniter hasn't lasted longer than it has, the vendor is honoring their commitment and I am pleased with that. Unfortunately, reading through the reviews of all these igniters, it seems like none of them hold up like the parts that come with the stoves. 5 stars for the vendor that honors their warranty, 2 stars for the product that should last beyond the warranty period, 4 stars overall. Original review: To get less than 6 months actual use from an igniter is very disappointing. I bought the American made product expecting to be able to run the stove for 2 or more seasons, but didn't make it through one. Now I have to decide whether to buy Chinese junk simply because it's cheaper to throw away.

I had no issues at all with this igniter. It was definitely and OEM igniter. My old igniter was in my Harmon Accentra since I bought my house which was almost 5 years. I noticed this winter my stove would either take a long time to light or not light at all anymore. I installed this new igniter in about a half hour. I noticed right away that the stove would light way faster than it used to. Good product.

I purchased other “OEM” igniters for my P43 Harmon stove from Amazon at 1/2 this price. Loooooong story short the cheaper ones all blew fuses in the main circuit board. (China bombs). I spent twice as much on this purchase and this igniter works perfect. NOTE: Even though I paid twice as much for this it was still HALF the price of the same product from my local dealer who wanted $158. Will definitely be ordering another one for a backup.

Installed Oct. 2019. Just replaced Jan. 23 2022. This one lasted longest of all the previous "cheapy" ones (this wasn't cheap) that I tried. I always keep a spare on hand, my spare is a 20.00 something. But I will be ordering another one of these even though it's gone up 10.00 you get what you pay for.
