Great fit, my favorite minimizing bra when wardrobe calls for one.

I have worn Bali bras for years. l love the support and comfort of the wide band & straps. I'm large busted 42 G. My last 2 purchase of the nude minimizer that was purchased in February 2026 the underwire has poked thru the fabric. This making it very uncomfortable. Any suggestions why this happened to both bras. I hand wash my bras & let them hang. I normally don't have any issues with Bali bras. I've worn Bali bras for 40 years .

So…… I have always worn and liked this bra. It has always provided a lot of support and minimizing effects. The cushion shoulder straps are good for large breasts yo keep from leaving marks on the shoulders. These bras have also been comfortable. I haven’t bought this bra in quite sometime. I recently purchased 2 of these bras from Amazon and I will say that since the last time I purchased this bra many years ago from Macy’s and Haynes, Bali seemed to have changed some things. It’s still the same bra that I have always worn and liked, which I am so glad these are still in production, but something seemed to have changed. And here is what I think: #1 This bra feels very stiff with just the slightest amount of give….if that. It makes it difficult for me to get into and out of this bra. #2 The straps are short, and actually seem a little shorter that my other Bali bras like this one. This makes it even more difficult for me to get on and take off. #3 This bra almost feels almost like paper. It’s not the same soft satin like feel of my older Bali bras of the same style. #4 The sizing seems to run a little smaller, or the sizing does not seem to consistent with these Bras. I tried on 2 of the same style bras in store, where one fit and the other seemed a little smaller around the back. It was like one was a 40DDD (that fit) and the other was a 38DDD (that was too tight). Because the size I ordered from Amazon did not fit (too small), I decided to go into a Haynes store to try on this style for sizing and found that I had to go up in back size from a 38 to a 40. Cup size fit as expected (DDD). I have never worn a 40, but maybe because these bras have very little stretch, is the reason I had to go up in back size. I also found that these bras in store still felt paper like and did not have that satin feel. I’ve on, the bra was pretty comfortable. So I went on and bought (2) 40 DDD anyway. Still a little difficult to get into and out of, and maybe because they need to keep its shape to be able to provide hold and support of the Breasts. Maybe after washing they will have a little softness to them. These bras still provide the comfort, support and minimizing effects I like. Aside from wearing daily, I also wear them like sports bra while dancing. The dance styles and workouts I do are very high impact dance styles where support is necessary. I also wear a regular sports bra over this bra to give me extra support, and that does the trick to hold the heavy girls down. I will return the 2 I bought from Amazon and buy the 40DDD. Sorry for the long review, but I hope this helps someone.

I've been wearing this Bali style for the last 12 years. It's the only style I've been truly happy with since! Yes, I've tried other styles, but they always lack either in support and lift or shape. And that's where this one shines! Support, lift, and shape. Just a few thoughts on things that have come up in the reviews: 1) Straps too short: I have not noticed this personally. In fact, I tend to tighten them up as far as possible, which is not very far. So there is probably room for improvement in the adjustability of the straps. 2) Band too tight: I feel this is a feature, not a bug. The support of a bra comes from band. Yes, the band does feel tight the first few wearings (I admit it leaves red marks at first), but it loosens up pretty quickly with wear. 3) Cups don't stretch: Non-stretch cups are key to support and shape for a large bust. Again, I see this as a feature, not a bug! It is so hard to find a bra with non-stretch cups, and whenever I give in and buy one with any stretch at all, I find I look dowdy in clothes. 4) Cup seams wrinkle and show through clothes: This tends to be true when the bra is new. After a washing or two the wrinkles go away. 5) Fabric is not soft: Again this is true before a few washings. 6) Bullet or cone shape: This bra can look somewhat cone shaped at first, but again, after a few washings that shape softens to just a very nice-under-clothes youthful look. The fabric really does soften up with wearing. 7) Center underwires poke forward: A bit annoying, but I found with a large enough cup size, this is actually minimal. But I bend those wires back toward my breastbone into a curved shape and--presto--they no longer show! Pro: Great support and lift. The price is reasonable. Cons: I wish they had more large cup/smallish band sizes (for instance there's no 34G), and more colors in the larger sizes. The G cup sizes have only 3 rows of hooks, while all the D, DD, and DDD cup sizes have 4 rows of hooks! It makes no sense. And I notice that since I've gone up to a G, the support does suffer with the fewer hooks.

I purchased a bundle of two bras in size 40G: one in cream and the other in black. At the time, I couldn’t select individual colors, and while black is my preference, I ended up with both. Fit & Sizing: -The cream-colored bra fit well and was more comfortable. -The black bra, despite being the same size (40G), felt noticeably tighter in the band. Hoping for a better fit, I ordered a 42DDD in black, but surprisingly, the band still felt smaller than the 40G cream. Comfort & Wearability: -A bra extender helped with the fit, but the overall material is uncomfortable. -The center wire protrudes, making it visible under clothing—especially when sitting down. Unfortunately, the company does not offer band sizes above 42, which limits options for a better fit. Support & Coverage: -On the plus side, these bras provide excellent full coverage and minimal bounce, which is better than many expensive brands I’ve tried. -However, the comfort issues outweigh the support benefits, making it hard to wear for extended periods. Overall Thoughts: While this bra offers the best support I’ve found in terms of full coverage and bounce control, the inconsistent sizing, stiff material, and uncomfortable center wire make it less than ideal. I really wish they improved the fabric and adjusted the fit consistency across colors and sizes.

Fit is perfect and comfortable wide bra straps are great

This is the best bra I have ever had. I've ordered them over and over and I don't believe and wireless bra can come close. I feel supported and confident in it.

This bra delivers on its promise to minimize. The compression is effective without feeling overly tight, and the wide straps are a big win—they stay in place and are very comfortable on the shoulders. The fabric is soft, pretty, and feels well made. I did notice a little top spillage and that the center underwire shows slightly under certain tops. The underwire can feel a bit firm after many hours of wear, but for shorter days or special occasions, it’s perfectly fine. Overall, if you’re looking for a minimizer that provides great shaping and support with comfortable straps, this one is a strong choice. Just consider sizing adjustments if you have a fuller top bust. Pros: • Effective minimizing and shaping • Comfortable, supportive straps • Attractive design and quality fabric Fit Notes: • Minor top spillage for fuller busts • Underwire can feel firm after long wear Bottom line: Great for minimizing and all-day strap comfort—just keep fit quirks in mind.
