This hot dog roller is the best way to cook a hot dog without burning it. They cook evenly end to end and you can keep them warm on it as well. Directions say pre-heat the unit for 8 minutes, then about another 8 (on high) and they are done perfectly! There is a low setting to keep them warm as well. Clean up is pretty simple, too. Of course, the brand of hot dog is of primary importance.

This is an honest review. I bought this to put in my food stand. It works great, but the low setting is still too hot. I can only leave them on about an hour on low or they’re burnt and flavorless. Because I am using it in my business I have to have dogs ready constantly so I find that I have a lot of waste and I have to throw them out if they sit too long and put fresh ones on. I’ve been putting only a couple at a time not to have so much wasted product. Aside from that it’s an amazing product and makes the hot dogs taste super good when cooked for just the right amount of time. Very easy to use, very simple to clean, and is the perfect size for my needs.

I've enjoyed hot dogs for 70 years. I've tasted most brands and tried every cooking technique there is. FINALLY I decided that a dog roller MIGHT be the best cooking method, BUT the price for a good one was WAY TOO HIGH. Amazon to the rescue! This dog roller is perfect! Works great, tastes great, RELATIVELY easy to clean (If you wipe the rollers down while still hot.) No fu-fu bun warmer (I make my own buns and soften them in a double boiler-steamer.) No downside that I can find. If you want a good roller for your Cloverdale All-Beef franks...this is the one. Quality + value.

I bought this is December for my son and his wife who live 250 miles away from me, and they could not make it up for Christmas so by the time they could come to visit it was March. That is when I gave the the hot dog roller as a gift. Well, my son went to use it when they got back home and he said when he took it out of the box the blue plastic protective wrap had been peeled away and there were vestiges of it left so it clearly had been there but was removed. He used it to make hot dogs, and he said the rollers kept locking up and spinning backwards like it did not want to complete a roll forward. So he wanted to see if I could exchange it for a new one but I looked and saw my return was closed as of January 31st. So now my son is stuck with a crappy used gift that I paid A LOT of money for and cannot return. I am so embarrassed and frustrated at this. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
