Newdow Lady's 50s Vintage V Neck Cap Sleeve Pencil Dress (XX-Large, Green)

I requested a mint green dress and the photo appeared to be just that, however what I received is a dark green dress. It’s not the same!!😞

This dress was perfect! It was sexy, the (green) color is gorgeous and the stretchy fabric meant it fit great. I am a curvy gal with a rather ample chest so my only possible complaint is that it ended up showing a lot of cleavage.... probably more than would be appropriate for say a wedding. The fit is a little small from what your normal size might be. I'm a size 14 and typically wear a L, occasionally an XL. I followed the product size guide (NOT the amazon size guide) and it put me at a XXL which if fit exactly right.

This was a pleasant surprise for me as far as quality and fit goes. I'm a seamstress by trade and rarely am able to order a garment from a maker I've never heard of, and have it fit right off the hanger or out of the package. I'll be using this dress for many, many occasions. Only downside seems to be placement of the bodice--it seemed to be a little too high for me when I tried it on the other day, but that may just require a different bra to make it sit where it ought to.

The cap sleeve part was sewn under one of the arms instead of in top. Other than that, the dress was fabulous. I didn't have time to return it since we were leaving for vacation in a few days, so I took it to an alterations place and had it fixed. Totally worth it!

I was a little concerned as it is the first time I bought a dress from Amazon and not sure if it would fit but it did fit perfect. I regularly wear a 14 and based on the reviews and size chart ordered it XXL and did fit perfect not loose or too tight, as of length I'm 5'4.5" tall and went right on my knee which it made me look chic. The material stretched good, good quality and good terminations. I got it in green and the tone is between a kelly and forest green.

I would love this dress if only it were proportionate. I ordered the largest size, and the dress itself was actually big enough but it was like they used a bodice that was 3 sizes too small. This would have been an amazing dress if only the bodice had been bigger. I'm pretty sad about that.
