Item comes with only one bracket FYI!
Love the product, wish that description would have detailed it was only one bracket, however. Item is well made and very sturdy. Waiting on second bracket to finish our outdoor fireplace mantle. It seems like it will definitely hold up!

These brackets are amazingly strong!
We use these brackets for installing our mantle which is solid wood and very heavy. We mounted the brackets to our studs inside the wall. We did add a couple of screws through the wall directly into the mantle to keep it from sliding if it got bumped. I believe this should be suggested by the seller. We feel very confident that our mantle will not fall off the wall and that these brackets will not sag.

Installed two mantles using the brackets. The brackets didn’t sag or move once the mantles were put up.

Extremely well built
Used these in a big kitchen addition/remodel. They work great and are rock solid. The contractor took the info about them and said he was going to use them exclusively moving forward. I highly recommend them. Be sure to order the drilling jig wuth the.

Some darn strong brackets!
Some damn good brackets. I gave 2 stars for ease of installation because you need to attach to the sides of the stud and that isn’t always easy. Also, the holes need to be accurate and a lay person would have trouble. That being, these are incredibly strong. If you can handle the install, look no further! Well done.

I ordered six of these to use in installing my very heavy, walnut slab floating shelves. When we took them out of the box, my crew's eyes got really big - these things are monster brackets; I think you could hang a car off of them! The installation was so smooth with the drill jig, and I am a happy camper. Thank you so much!

do it before you drywall or else you need a thick shelf to hide the repair you just made.

Great product and great customer care
We ordered 5 brackets for our mantle and a damaged / retaped package from the delivery company arrived with only 2. These folks sent three more brackets out immediately and we got them in time for our install. The brackets are great and the customer service is even better!
