Handheld Brass Spyglass Telescope with Cylindrical Leather Brown Bag

This spyglass seems to be well made. Perfect size for a little guy. it has a good heft and it really does magnify objects in the distance...OK, not like you see in the movies, but it did magnify a bit and the focus was clear. The carrying case has a belt loop which is a tremendous plus. Gave this to my grandson for Christmas and his eyes lit up and in no time he had it on his belt and was running around with a pirate hat shouting Arrghhh. Highly recommend if you have an fledgling pirates at home.

If you go in with proper expectations (considering the price point) this is a worthy purchase. It has a solid feel and construction and the little leather case is a handy addition. I attached it to my belt for a pirate costume. ;)

This was a perfect addition for pirate party decoration. The case is really nice and it opens and telescopes like the real thing. You can look through it and it is a somewhat closer view. It is a very clear view which surprised me for what I expected to be just a decoration. Really cool.

You get what you pay for. I bought two for Christmas for my kids who love pretending to be pirates. They are a good size and easy to manipulate. They’re also easy to break apart. I’ve had to put these back together more times than I can count.
