I have really enjoyed this version of dramatic bible reading. Good actors, nice dramatic background but not annoying , just seems on point drama. I have listened to maybe 3 different bibles. This is by far my favorite. Now I am old school, I grew up listening to Alexander Scorby tapes. This is so much better. I love listening in bed, drifting off to sleep. This is very soothing. I am presently listening to revelations, and am playing it over and over, learning more all the time. I learn better by listening instead of reading so this is perfect for me.

I absolutely love this version of audio Bible. I wish other books were created with different character voices. This is an awesome discovery. The sound quality is great. The design layout per chapter is great! I would recommend this to everyone interested in knowing the Bible.

we listen to this everyday every morning. we do our studies in the morning with my husband leading after he has done his early morning prayer what the Lord. we will listen to what the Lord has given my husband and my husband will pause it and we will read it and go over what my husband's been studying on before we woke up. the dramatization and the great actors that act with their voice really allows us to hear things that we might be missing and allow us to have an engagement with the word as we follow along with our Bibles

Hearing the Bible performed by voice actors with realistic background sounds of nature, crowds and music has brought the stories to life and made them easier to remember.

I am enjoying the NKJV AUDIO Bible. It is so hard to try to pronounce so many of the names and names of cities in the Bible. It is awesome to have them pronounced for me in the readings of the audible Bible. I am wondering if I can continue to use my 1 point each month to continue to get This version free monthly? Also can I use it on all my electronic devises?

A brilliant, BRILLIANT production. The audio book really brings The Bible alive. It goes beyond 'head knowledge' and sinks in. I think my quiet 'open book' Lectio Divina meditations will be greatly enhanced by listening to this as a supplement. I can't get enough of this audio production and I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a fantastic service to God. Really fantastic. One of my best investments ever. Thank you

The Word of Promise CDs are outstanding. They really bring the Bible to life. Our six-year-old son listens to one of these CDs every night when he is ready for bed. It is amazing how much he remembers! We originally just had the New Testament, and he listened all the way through it at least 10 times. He kept begging us to get more Bible Cds for him to listen to, so we decided we better buy the Old Testament CDs for him. He was so excited when he got them! He has already listened to the first 10 Cds (some of them several times). We have heard many Bible recordings, but the Word of Promise version is incredible both for Old & New Testament. This is radio theatre at its finest. Not only that, but it is also very biblically accurate. An excellent resource for people of all ages, interests, and denominations to enjoy.

Brought 3.so much easier to understand as different voices were used and easier to take in the words and information.wish I had brought thus earlier..wonder and the other two were gifts which the recipients are thoroughly enjoying

This is an excellent audio bible. The New Testament is brought to life in a way that makes the scriptures more understandable.
