I bought this last weekend after reading most of the reviews and looking at everything on Amazon for pertinent decorative items to use at my mailbox. It is made perfectly with NONE of the negative experiences others had.There were no chips, scratches, broken parts.Everything on it was attached straight and firmly, not crooked or loose.The peg perches were there, painted beautifully to match.I looked to see: yes it offers a working two story feature complete with a literal second floor.Seems easy to clean to me.I really loved it and it could be perfect for me, but just not my mailbox, so I returned it. Perhaps I will repurchase it for another spot in the future. Have to watch my pennies. I found a peacock solar light instead fot the mailbox. ☺ But I would certainly recommend this to others!!!

Bird house much larger than I expected. Nice and strong. Great item

I didn't hang it up outside yet but I see no reason why the birds won't love it. It's the cutest thing. There are two levels inside and the rear has two swinging doors so you can clean it out when necessary. I liked it so much I bought a second one. I'm hoping to get a few years out of these. The elements will probably take it's toll on them after a while. The wood seems untreated.

Really satisfied with this, as it really is how the photos and description portrayed. I love the "condo" effect. Has two tiers. My experience is that it takes time for birds to feel comfortable with this new location. No activity yet. Easy to assemble, but I added a screw on the bottom, to prevent it from swinging in the wind. Can be removed for cleaning too. Delivery was great. Packaged securely, and delivered to me in Montreal, Canada at a reasonable delay. No complaints. I would order another one. I added another screw Below the birdhouse, to avoid it from swinging.

This bird house is my favorite & and I have about 20 of them! Typically, I find bird houses at yard sales, gift stores & on-line. When I take them home, I embellish them w/ paint, old doorknobs, seashells, etc., but this one was so special, I placed it in my garden as-is. I love it that it has distressed wood & a funky paint job. I live in a tiny village on the CA coast near Hearst Castle, & the bird house decorating of homes is a crazy habit among the residents (don't ask me why!). Maybe your company will encourage others to join the craze!
