I LOVE my fair trade tagine
I love making tagines (the food) and looked for a tagine (the cooking/serving dish) for a long time. While there are a lot of inexpensive, lightly used tagines of unknown origins available, I was so happy when I found this one - the perfect choice for me. In addition to the used tagine market, you can buy new tagines from high quality manufacturers, but I just couldn’t get excited about buying such a traditional cooking dish from Emile Henri or Le Creuset, both French companies, particularly knowing that the French colonized North Africa. I wanted either a local or North African potter. Here’s why I love this tagine: 1) I particularly appreciated that it was made by Tunisian potters, since the tagine is a North African tradition. My understanding is that the vendor is a fair trade company that gives back to the craftsmen, which was important to me. (I couldn’t find any third party verification of its fair trade status and just believed them.) 2) It’s gorgeous. 3) It’s lead free. I intended to cook in it but found that it was easier and faster to cook the food in my Dutch oven or pressure cooker and then serve in this tagine. This cookware/serving dish is a piece of art that shouts special occasion while paying homage to the culinary roots of tagines. I display it on a shelf in my living room when it’s not in use because it is so beautiful.

Was very pleased with the overall look and design
I wanted to leave a rating on here since I was very pleased with this pot. I'm usually hesitant to buy off pictures online because you don't know if it will look tacky when you receive it. However, this product is very high quality and I think it was a great deal for the price now that I have it. Great for entertaining dinner guests and overall a cool, unique pot.

Fantastic customer service!
My Tagine arrived in Perfect condition. I am very pleased with the customer service. I inadvertently ordered a medium size. I tried to order one size up but my order had already gone through. I was delighted to be sent the large size regardless. This was super important because I needed it for a planned party and had I cancelled and re-ordered it wouldn’t have arrived on time. I cannot wait to use it! It is beautiful all on its own but i can’t wait to make some chicken lemon tagine! I will take pictures and update once I use it. Thank you for being so understanding and accommodating.

Bad product
Do not buy, it looks pretty, but it is not working I bought this for Christmas and used once and it was fine and the second time I used it it’s just cracked in the middle of my cooking so all of the food is starting to dripping out of the pot, so DO NOT BUY IT, it looks good but it’s not good for use.

Great product and great customer service!
I got this Tagine as part of the Black Friday sale that just wrapped up. I had just gotten familiar with tagine and Moroccan cooking and decided to just take the plunge. These tagines are genuine tagines, hand-made and clay. Unfortunately that means they're not always perfect and that was the case with mine. I instantly let Kamsah know and they made some suggestions. I went ahead and tried making a dish in the tagine. It didn't go well! The lid didn't fit right and created a mess on the stove and a lot of smoke in the house. I contacted and eventually called the guys at Kamsah and let them know what happened. No problem, full exchange (I didn't want a refund, I wanted the pot!) and they were responsive right away. I really can't say enough good things about the two guys I interacted with. They were attentive to my issues and pleasant throughout. And I'll still get a new tagine pot to replace the defective one. I really can't recommend these folks too highly. They were great to deal with; if there's an issue, they will pay attention. Thanks, Kamsah!

Very pleased with packing and appearance.
The tagine was very well-packaged in an abundance of bubble wrap. It arrived without instructions for curing, but I was able to get them from Amazon’s Rufus. All went well with no cracks due to prep. Now to cook!

Large. Beautiful. Functional.
This fit enough for 6 easily, and would have worked for 8 or even 10. It is easy to use (don’t forget to follow the curing instructions!) and looks beautiful on the table.

Déçu😢 non pas de la qualité mais de savoir que c’est pour de la décoration seulement il ne va pas au four alors on ne peut pas cuisiner avec et moi je l’avais acheté en pensant faire des belles recettes au four 😢🤦🏼♀️
