Can it be used for a cold sore around your nose?

DEFINITELY - I use it up my nose when I've got chapped skin round the inside of my nose due to having a cold infection - definitely the place where cold sore virus will take advantage. And this is definitely for treating a cold sore not just preventing in IMO, as long as you use it straight away and apply it several times a day, it can work to stop the sore developing ;-)

Does this have lanolin in?

Sorry I can’t answer. I’ve looked on the tin, which is tiny and the list of ingredients is in such tiny text I’m unable to read it. It is a lovely lip balm though .

Can you use it daily and regularly throughout the day as you would any lip balm?

I did.Very god lip balm,need just a little bit and stays on for very long time.

Can children use this?

Yes I can't see why not. No harsh ingredients or chemicals and children use Spontex for cold saws and this is more natural and more effective :)
