I purchased these after we remodeled our kitchen, including custom wood countertops (not butcher block -- way more nicer and expensive!). This set of mats has worked perfectly for buffering our countertop from our Ninja Coffee Maker and our toaster. The color blends with the wood and the mats are sturdy and easy to rinse off when needed. I think these will also work well for resting hot baking pans or to have next to the barbecue for resting utensils and such. This is a solid product at a great price!

I almost bought the square mats until I read reviews. After buying these rectangular mats, I can see how the square ones would be a problem. You will tend to get some crumbs or drips on your mat. The rectangular mats with long dented ridges are so easy to clean and wipe the spill right off. The square ones with the honeycomb pattern would definitely be a pain to keep clean. You'd have to try to dig drips and crumbs out of the holes. Buy the larger rectangle mats. They'll fit more sizes of pots or pans from small squares to a baking dish. I have 2 gray mats now and I use them almost daily and love them.

I wanted something for either side of the stove to keep the granite protected from oil splashing and spills. These have been working great. They can withstand hot pans and plates on top of them and are gentle on the counter, but way better than fabric items that have to be laundered constantly. The wavy design made me skeptical, I thought that placing items on top would leave them off balance, but I can put a glass on top of it without any wobble or fear that they will fall over. I like them so much that I bought a second set for in front of the coffee maker to corral a milk frothing glass and the mess it creates. The last one I cut in half and use at the back of the countertop behind the sink to catch drips of water from the faucet and to hold the dishwashing soap. The other half of it I use at our home bar to hold jigger's, lemons, limes, etc, anything that might be messy while making a cocktail and it has worked wonderfully there as well. When they are dirty just give them a quick hand wash with a sponge and some soap, let air dry and you are good to go.

Perfect size for my new Keurig coffee machine. I put one underneath to protect the wood cart and the other one in front to put coffee cup. The color is close to Kitchen Aid Aqua. A whole lot cheaper than the other mats and if water does spill out, it won’t ruin my cart because of the ridges.

they hold up real good to heat. also the no slip is perfect for our needs. we ended up repeat buying as we like it so much. Nice to have color options as well.

I love these. They are perfect to use next to my blackstone griddle to put utensils on keeping grease off the table

Small size fits great beside a sink with minimal counter space. Just enough protection to hold a few extra dishes. Could be rolled and set aside when not needed. Thin, lightweight and durable. Water runs off it immediately when rinsed. Dries fast. Others have a small hole for hanging but I didn't buy it for hanging & didn't want any water leaking. Comes in various colors but just wanted it to blend into a grey countertop so I got black. It's perfect.
