Love these
These work great Very easy to install. They appear to be durable. The look that well, especially the black in black shoes, silver on grey, etc. My mules (backless) are the your with short strings with the knot so they don't fill he I'm married anyway.

Easy to use. Lifesavers!
I have 8 year old twins who cause more damage to the ends of shoelaces that I can comprehend. These things are great. You cut the frayed end off...install the new end..clamp it down and you are back in business in a couple of minutes. A very low cost, simple to execute solution to an ever present problem with kids shoes.

Very Easy to Crimp
These aglets are very easy to crimp. You can practically do it with your fingers. You will need some type of pliers to completely close them. Be sure to pull on them to verify they are on tightly, otherwise they will fall off. I put them on 2 pairs of boots and after a couple of days, they were still on.

Does the Job Kind of...
I don't know if I'm missing some component or what, but once I put them on, they don't stay on. I have troy using pliers, but they don't stay on.

Take your time
A little tricky to put on but if you go slow and keep an eye on the crimps as you squeeze them, they work well.

Do the job
A bit larger than what I wanted, but they do the job and fixed the laces that my wife's dog chewed up.
