Great look, low price
SUMMARY: tidy shipping, DIY installation easy with youtube-tier knowledge, and cool look. Easily worth the price. ----- SHIPPING: packaged neatly inside a cardboard, flip-open box. Wires and light bars sealed inside plastic zip bags, and the remote came with batteries. Delivered as expected. INSTALLATION: after verifying the functionality of the components, I watched a couple youtube videos to see how the wiring could be best installed. My PT Cruiser is a small car, so I figured wire length wouldn't be an issue. I went ahead and laid everything out to see if the lengths were good... it was close, but it worked. After mounting the control box as seen in PHOTO #1, I connected the positive and negative wires directly to the car battery. The control box is high enough that it doesn't catch engine heat and I'm able to easily use the remote control from inside the car. From the control box, I ran the 4 outgoing wires down through a gap between the engine and radiator and secured the wires with zip ties. ***Make sure you measure your car before buying to avoid wire length issues. Strategic placement of the control box is essential. Using additional zip ties at strategic locations, I secured each wire right up until they attached to a light strip (See PHOTO #2). After cleaning the mounting locations, I removed the protective layer from the adhesive on each light bar and attached them to the car. Surprisingly, the adhesive is stronger than I expected and is holding snugly (if you run into trouble with the adhesive strip, you can find car adhesive tape online or at automotive stores). When doing the rear light bar, I used the included extension wire. COMMENTS: I'm not yet convinced that they'll last through a Canadian winter, so for added caution I decided to caulk the wire joints and more discreetly tie the wires under the car. But either way, these lights look great considering how inexpensive they are. All colours matched the interior lighting I'd previously installed, and the "music mode" is surprisingly sensitive--flashing to the beat even at very low volume (mind you, my car carries 40lb. subwoofers inside). On a stock sound system, if the control box is mounted under the hood, it might pick up the rumblings of the engine instead of the music you play... just a thought. As always, check your provincial laws (state laws for my American neighbours) to see what colours are legal while driving. It's only green or purple for me while driving but it's still fun to rock other colours while idle (deep blue ftw!) (PHOTO #3-5).

Great Product, Great Price, Hope they last forever!
I blindly ordered these off my mom's Prime account. They showed up on a Sunday at 2:30 which was incredible. After opening the box, I examined each of the cables and found a small tear in the rubber casing. This was the only bad thing I noticed, but it wasn't something a little electrical tape couldn't fix. I tested all the strips and each of the light settings. All were good and the music settings are fun. Putting these on a Jeep had it's pros and cons. Wiring it was easy because the drainage holes in the body allowed me to easily run the wires. It was difficult to find places for the front and rear LED strips because of the after market bumpers on my Jeep. My method was to use the 3M strips on the back of the LED strips to mount them to the driver and passenger sides. Of course I had to clean the the mud off the body first. Then, I used the given zip ties to mount the led strips to the insides of my steel bumpers. This was affective and it seems like it will hold. I tested the hold of the strips by going different speeds and driving on bumpy roads. The strips stayed in place. I'm not quite sure how long the 3M strips will hold. They seem like they will be okay for a year or so and then need a new adhesive. If the adhesive goes bad and the product is still in great condition at the time, I will most likely super glue them to where I have the mounted. Overall, a great addition to the Jeep. I can match my headlights with red underflow or mix and any color as I please. Turns even more heads than before.

Good Price and Good Quality
I bought 2 of these, 1 for me and 1 for a friend. Both of them are treating us well. These are very bright and they don’t feel or look cheap at all especially for the price! They hold up well for underbody washes in the car wash. It took a while to wire it up completely because all I used was a few zip ties where I could and mostly glue under my car. My small 4 door Camry was long enough to require a few feet of splicing for the rear LED bar, so I urge everyone reading this to get the 6 ft extension to be safe! I’ve never ran into any problems with these whatsoever, but I live in a small agricultural town so lots of mud cakes itself on the underside of the vehicle. I’ve just been wiping all 4 bars with a wet rag and the dirt comes right off. Hopefully they don’t get damaged from all the debris, if they do I will report back! The remote is very nice. You can change the brightness or speed if you’re on a mode. These things are great and the bars stick well to a smooth surface. 10/10 would recommend!!

Nice LED Kit, questionable customer service?
Very displeased with customer service. I got a broken LED light kit for my Jeep and it only does 3 colors (red, green, and blue) none of the other colors work?! Also, the colors alone that do work are NOT even bright, they are very dim lights and its almost hard to notice them even turned on. I contacted support about this and got about zero help on this issue. They took forever to respond and did not take care of the issue after almost 2 months. I think I'll be ripping them off my car and doing a return. If the company decides to actually resolve this issue within the next week, I may reconsider my choice and rating, but this is a very disappointing product so far... UPDATE: After a very long and painful procedure to get my broken LED lights replaced, only after I left a bad review did I begin to see actual concern from the company to assist me further. They eventually did send me a new kit so that was nice. I don't expect these lights to last longer than 1-2 years before they burn out or stop working. For now, I am happy with my purchase and I'm sure this issue could have been resolved much faster if I had just returned the kit and repurchased them again, but in my case I already had them installed and wired into my car. Moral of this story, make sure they work with every color before you spend your day installing them!

Horrible quality. First of all
Horrible quality. First of all, the instructions mention hooking two wires to the battery, but there are three wires (two which are red). What are you supposed to do with the third one? Whoever wrote this does not have a clear understanding of English, grammar, and technical writing. Another thing, the lines are not long enough to reach both, the front or rear end of the car, depending on where you will mount this. I have seen videos of people having to solder extensions, but I didn’t want to go that rout and figured I would check my local electronics store to see if any extensions were available, there were not. I will have to find a solution to overcome this which means poor engineering. Next, upon testing, I noticed one of the LED strips would not light up unless I twisted the wires at a certain angle, which indicates a short circuit. I then decided to open it up because I am a qualified technician, I immediately notice solder overrun on one of the contacts, touching the contact next to it, and also one of the wires is broken. This means poor quality. I do not trust this equipment will last long, given all the problems I have encountered thus far. And even though I will fix this stuff to my satisfaction, it’s unlikely anyone else would want to go through all this trouble. So yeah, it’s a cheap item, and I suppose, you get what you pay for. With that said, BUYER BEWARE. Lastly, it’s a shame of what Amazon is becoming. It’s becoming a hub for, likely, foreign products with no regard to quality. Yes, the prices are low, but at what cost?? Stay away from this kit.

On mini toy hauler trailer
I have a custom mini toy hauler trailer and wired these lights under the awning and the overhang door. Wiring harness comes with a cigarette style plug or you can hard wire to a battery. They are very easy to install, but I did have to buy a few extension wires that allowed me to run the wires to the positions I wanted. If you’re placing them under a vehicle or in a truck bed you should be ok with the wires included. I needed to wire mine high on the trailer so needed a little more length. The remote works well and not that it’s needed but it works from a good distance away. My only worry is what happens if I lose that remote. Colors look great and are bright for my need. My favorite part is the dimmer on the remote. You can turn them down pretty low which is great when your out camping and it’s pitch black out. Great buy. Well worth the money.

Good product.... For the most part...
Ok, so, yeah, it's a $40 underbody light kit. I bought one last yr (2019) and put it on my hotrod and it works great. Although I think I need a new battery in the remote.... So I thought, yeah, good product it's cheap. So I bought another set and put them on my trans am...........😐 This set.....not so good... Install and all of that was the same. Good adhesion from the 3M tape and all. But they are problematic. Don't like to respond to the remote. Tend to do their own thing, not what I want them to do. They have a tendency to turn off OR on as they see fit. I had to fix it so I can disconnect them from the battery when not in use because they will turn on all by them selves... Kit on the hotrod works fine. Kit on the trans am? Not do much. So 50% chance you're kit will be great. They are quite bright though and I like that. Plus, for the money they do a good job.

Early 2ks called, these guys answered.
These things are awesome, pretty easy install, hardest part is routing wires but past that everything is plug and play, one of my new favourite mods I’m probably gonna put these on every vehicle I own from now on.
