I own a daycare - literally dozens of kids played with these timeless toys over the years and they remain sturdy. Great for imaginative play. Schleich is pricey but worth it. I buy a few at a time so as not to break the budget but I know I can buy with confidence.

My toddler loves these animals ! She learned a great deal about animal with these figurines (name, body prints). They are so well done that they are a pedagogy tool as well as being a toy. We have the complete lion family now and I'm as excited about it as her.
