I’m honestly amazed at how well this battery has held up over time. I’ve been using my Nikon D7000 since 2013, and the original EN-EL15 battery still holds a strong charge today. I regularly shoot youth sports events, which can involve hundreds of photos in a single session, and the battery has remained reliable throughout. I always carry a spare, but I rarely need to swap it out during events. Just nice to know it's there. Charging has remained consistent, and I haven’t noticed any major drop in performance even after all these years. Build quality clearly makes a difference here. I’ve handled and used other rechargeable batteries for different devices, and very few have lasted this long while still performing well. If you’re deciding between original Nikon batteries and cheaper alternatives, my experience with this specific one has been excellent long-term. Beginner tip: Always carry a spare battery, especially for sports or events. It gives peace of mind and keeps you from missing important moments.

Well designed, functional charging unit. Batteries seem to be high quality. Great advantage to have USB charging power. You can use USB portable chargers in place of 110v receptacles. Great for traveling.
