my 13 is 70 pounds what size is he small medium ?

My 7 year old son wears xtra small and he weighs 60 lbs I think you should try small

how thick is the padding?

I do not know the exact measurement. They are a standard padding for basketball. Less than a volleyball padding. They have been perfect for us. They are exactly the same thickness as the McDavid brand, but these offer a cooler experience.

My sons 6’3 135 what size shall I get?

Measure around your knee and use the chart.

The units look wrong on the size chart???

They the right size just have to break them in fitted prefix for me
