Surprised my partner with this seed tin, she loves it. It's good for a small or specialist collection, well made and very pretty, tins not bad either.

I thought this tin was very attractive. It is sturdy and has compartments inside to keep the packets secure.

Like other reviewers have said, when this arrived one of the clasps were already broken and the other one is very flimsy. Luckily I knew this ahead of time by reading the reviews, and wasn't that worried about it. But if it's important to you, don't order this. Aside from that, it's a vast improvement on the cardboard box I have been storing seeds in and looks very nice.

The product itself was very pretty and I was looking forward to giving it as a birthday gift this week. Unfortunately the clasps were broken and fell out in bits all over the floor when I opened the box, which I can only assume must have been broken at the time of packaging and was sent knowingly broken because it was packaged like Fort Knox and the two cardboard boxes and paper wrapping it was in were completely un damaged. I only knocked one star down on packaging as I felt it was excessive. Thickness and warmth didn’t seem to warrant a rating for this product as doesn’t seem relevant. Quality I would Mark as 2 stars, only because the tin itself seems good if only it were usable. After my problem I noticed many others had the same issue, it seems we have another respected brand name (RHS) where you pay for the brand and get a shoddy product. Save yourself the trouble and don’t bother unless you want to run around organising returns and waiting for your money back. I am going to order again and hope I get better quality, all bought the gift will be late, only because I have bought matching gifts for my Nan and grandads birthdays.

Lovely seed tin. Seems quite sturdy at the moment. The hinges seem good. Holds a lot of seed packets. Having a seal would make it perfect but this is still a great little tin. Fast delivery well packed
