Multiple uses!
I love this thing!!! I bought this so I could do the oil infusion process for my Ayurvedic mixes. It works really well for that but my only gripes are the lack of temperature control and the fact that is doesn’t just stay on (which is only a negative for the purpose of infusion). Bonus though, I was able to use this to keep my body wax beads at a good temperature since I was too cheap to buy an actual body wax warming unit. I’ve never used this to heat food but it’s just so multifunctional it’s become a staple for me.

Just what I wanted........
I reviewed pages of warmers looking for a flat surface warmer and excellent reviews. This won the contest! I wanted a flat surface so I could set bowls of food/soup on it also. Tired of running to microwave reheating things while on the computer. This does exactly that....I use a flatter bottom bowl and my food/soup stays at a great eating temperature. Also works great with cocoa , tea and coffee. I love this warmer. It also has high and low settings.

No real "OFF" switch
It must be unplugged or anything laid on top will turn it on. Toasted my cell-phone. It requires a flat-bottom cup as a regular base cup barely stays warm.
