Wrapgrade Poly Skin for DJI Mavic 2 Main unit (BLACK BUMPY CAMO)

I was a little bored with the basic gray look of the drone and often it was hard to see against the sky. I researched a few different products and decided to give this one a try primarily based upon the colors. I went with Butterfly copper and used a seperate Titanium accent pack for the silver/gray on the nose, stripes on the front arms and around the motors. It was definitely tedious at times and I found using a fine tipped pair of tweezers (plastic tips, smooth not "grippy") helped with aligning a bunch of the pieces. It takes patience, especially for your first time. There's a diagram with the pieces numbered in order, but watching the youtube video is a must as sometimes it's not 100% clear the orientation by just looking at the peices. My only criticism is that a couple of times it was hard to determine which side of the drone the peice went on. A little better clarity in the directions would ahve been hlepful. But after I was done even my OCD wife had a hard time finding anything to complain about when it came to alignment and coverage. I am extremely pleased with the results!

I got the Aircraft Silver (full skin) and the Japan Red (highlight skin). Some of the cut pieces can be a challenge but taking my time it turned out nice. On most of the aircraft it looks like a paint job. Smooth w\ nice lines. Had a few air bubbles to work out, but that's not the skin's fault. This was no more difficult than decals on a regular model, except it's 3D. I did use dry rub decals for the registration number and top of the batts. The "skin" numbers I used on the batt end so I can see it when it's in the case. The Velcro on top is for the anti-collision light (doesn't come with the skin). So far, it's seal is persisting & no fold-back on corners & ends. I'd buy again.

Is a good skin, takes careful installation, take your time be patient. Overall it looks good on my Mavic Air 2S, very bright in the sky, good material. It remains to b seen if its going to pass the test of time and scratches and falls. So stay toone, I will but the Orange for my new Mavic Air 3 when it comes out.

So precise and well fitted, you’ll think it’s painted on. (Don’t criticize my work.. lol was first try. I have another to do) I tried a few others, and parts seemed to not even be for my DJI Mavic Zoom and Pro 2. I was impressed with the packaging, instructions (I suggest you read before starting, as well as watch their videos on this site). After first piece I couldn’t get over how perfectly cut it was. Thin enough to stretch if needed (you won’t), and it all went on easily. Don’t like? Can’t say much. Wish there had been a skin for a second battery, or that I saw you could buy a bigger set that included it. My fault not theirs. Make sure you have a soft pointy tool to use for the edges that go inside the body. I used a credit card and a dental pick that has soft rubber. Oh, also the leg stickers for front had just a micro error. I only notice because I put them in, you couldn’t find it. But it’s along the silver stripe, top of front legs. I included picture. Maybe input something on wrong.. but it aligns everywhere else. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Minor issue compared to the end look. What I liked most? The diagram for stickers shows you which edge to align. Gives you the important starting point.. and also showing what wraps over (so you know where you have extra room). It’s my first product bought from them, I’m hoping they make skins for other things.. definitely worth the extra money to buy. A little pricier than others, but you’ll be happy you spent it, and understand why. Great product Wrapgrade

All did not fit properly

I was very excited to try this product out as I have used other company on other devices before. As always everything must be clean including your hands. This wrap can be a challenge to put on and looks good from a distant. But other than that it’s a waste of money. The cost of this is ridiculous at least with the Mavic 2 pro skin I got. I received so many pieces that I had to stretch because they we’re not cut right. Then there is a noticeable amount of “white bleed” that comes through the sides of the wraps. If this item was $10 I’d be ok, maybe $15 but I paid $50 for the body and $30 for four batteries. When it comes down to it I should have just bought some reflective tape and been done with it.

You cannot find a better quality drone wrap than Wrapgrade. The vinyl is genuine 3M vinyl. It is strong, but flexible. Each piece is laser cut to fit your drone exactly as it should. Other brand are very sloppy fitting. Not Wrapgrade! Perfect fit every time. Make sure you watch their video on YouTube as you wrap your drone. Stop it after each piece and install that piece. Takes about an hour to get it all installed, and it comes out awesome!

I tried the other skins from other places first which leave large unsightly gaps. I cannot tolerate gaps ever again after using wrapgrade skins. I've used a few on Mavic Air, Mavic Pro and now a Mavic 2 Pro. On a Mavic Pro Platinum - the dystopia skin (not from wrapgrade) is the best as it works with the gaps well... HOWEVER, other than just dystopia skin on a platinum, everything else is complete garbage compared to wrapgrade skins. I don't like waiting for shipping from Japan, but luckily they have stock available for quick shipping on amazon! Other skins eventually scuff and peel off, but my experience with wrapgrade skins is that they protect and last forever. I end up forgetting what it looks like underneath. The material overlaps very well and if you apply a little heat with a heat gun or a hairdryer(don't go crazy with a heat gun or you'll get blisters), you can get even better coverage. Another thing I like about this is the reflectivity of the pearlescent white - it is pretty much invisible in the sky on a partly cloudy day.

Really well done vinyl wraps. Once you get the technique it’s easy to apply. Recommend starting with the battery to get the hang of it before trying the more complicated shapes, not difficult and looks professional. Very happy. Not sure about the comments about it not being sticky enough, seems fine and been out on about half a dozen flights to date and the wraps are still perfect.

Pour le prix vous n’avez qu’un skin batterie et pas de skin pour la télécommande! Tout ce prend séparément. Il faut compter environ 80 euros pour la complète. C’est gonflé tout de même. Sinon bon produit

Wirklich gute Folie! Wer schon × foliert hat, weiß was für eine Schweinearbeit das ist. Dagegen ist es fast ein Kinderspiel mit der Folie von Wrapgrade. Ohne anzuwärmen kann man sie wunderbar an jede Stelle ziehen. Wenn man die Laufrichtung des Papiers berücksichtigt und weiß von welcher Seite man welchen Aufkleber am besten anfängt kann nichts mehr schief gehen und selbst wenn, hat man noch genügend Zeit, bevor der Kleber trocknet, sie wieder abzuziehen und noch × zu kleben.
