Delicious Carob Chips
Very delicious carob chips. Very smooth and creamy. The ingredients are some of the seemingly healthiest I have seen.

Carob is not chocolate, but it is tasty!
Chocolate triggers GERD for some people. This is delicious.

best carob chips available
These are the best carob chips on the market in my opinion. We have tried multiple other brands and have only been disappointed by the others. Missy Js is by far the tastiest, most delicious, and has a very pleasant texture. We generally eat them as a dessert by themselves or as a snack, or put some on top of vanilla ice cream. Highly recommend.

The best
Chocolate gives me hives, so I have to resort to carob. So many different tastes though and some I don’t like. This one is exceptional and not as sweet which is more like chocolate. Carob is naturally sweet. It doesn’t need more. I like to add a little Roma with it to give it a deeper taste when melting. These are great for making your own peanut butter cups.

Beware of where you order them from
These carob chips are my favorite. The closest I can come to feel like I'm eating chocolate. Where you get them from matters though. We live in the Phoenix area. They'll meltIf they're not in refrigerated packaging. You can order through Whole Foods on the amazon app and they put ice packs in the package with the carob chips. It's an extra nine dollars, but they come as chips and not one big block that way.

Lining smell / Heat issue?
I was very hopeful about loving these carob chips but unfortunately, when I opened the bag and tasted them, it smelled and tasted like mylar. The inside of the package looks like it is mylar lined - I don't know that it is, it just looks & smells like a mylar balloon. Gross. It was about 100° today, and even though Amazon was good about packing them with 2 freezer packs, the chips were clumped. I can probably break them apart but won't be using them for trail mix, as planned., because I just can't get over the metallic taste. I love carob and will try another brand but really loved that these are organic, as a healthier sweet 'treat' option.Maybe the hot temps brought out the odor of the lining, so maybe in the winter they wouldn't absorb the smell/flavor of the lining - who knows? If it is possible to switch to a parchment paper lining in the future, I would try them again. As it is, I paid for three bags of yuck. 😪
