Very interesting book, all the different stories men faced in their heartbreaks and trials reminds me to always fully trust in god. I love how these men honor our blessed mother, she has also broke many chains of mine through the rosary.

This book has been one I could have read in a day. The stories shared have been shocking and inspiring on so many levels. I am Catholic and love my faith. Our Mother Mary and the rosary have been my survival/my life preserver. The lives these men lived and their brutal honesty of their journey is communicated perfectly in Of Men & Mary. It confirms all I already believe as a Catholic woman of 60 years; that the Catholic Church is HOME. Thank you for writing this book. I yearn for another. You will not be bored or regret reading this book!

What an absolutely inspirational book! Should be read by everyone, especially Catholics, but I believe non-Catholics would also find these stories compelling. In fact, anyone who has doubts about God’s existence and reads it with an open mind, will begin to believe that God is real.

The stories and witness of the men in this book is nothing short of awe inspiring. Recommended for anyone who needs to find faith in God. Amen.

I purchased this book to strengthen my Catholic beliefs and to learn more about Our Blessed Mother. I think this is a very good book, but it might sound too far-fetched for some Christians to accept. Most of us were raised with a strongsome-what rigid faith in God, the canonized Saints, and our guardian angel. The six men had ordinary conversations withGod, Mary, and their guardian angel. It often didn't sound right to me that informal conversations were not reverent. A reader will need to be immersed in deep love, in order toappreciate the actions of the six men when they poured out the feelings in their mind, heart, & soul. I often wondered if the author was inclined to embellish the stories that she wrote. In my mind, this inspirational book might well-deserve a 5 rating, if I hadn't thought it was a bit over-embellished. All-in-all, a wonderful book.

It is an eyes and heart opening message. Strongly recommend it. Perfect for a gift this Christmas, birthday or any tume.

I cried so much reading this book. I'm a born and raised practising Roman Catholic, a devotee to Mother Mary like my mum. 5 Years ago I lost my mum to dementia, my Mother Mary in heaven gave me the strength and courage I needed when I lost my mum. The 6 testimonies in this book are stories of all who come to Mary not just as a mother of Christ but also our mother who cares for us, looks after us and transforms our lives.For those other Christian denominations who are always looking to demerit Catholicism for worshiping Mother Mary, John 19:26-27 states When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, He said to her "Women here is your son" and to the disciple, "Here is your mother" from that time on, this disciple (John) took her into his home - NIV. This is Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and yet He found it an important commission to give His mother to us to love and believe. It wouldn't have been recorded in the Bible if it was not true or are people being selective over what Jesus said? Mother Mary was not just a God bearing vessel which non-Catholics have so come to believe. She has an eternal place in God's heart therefore a special place in every spiritual Christian. Like all mothers, Our Lady oversees past her children's shortcomings and has compassion on us. Wonderful book about the love and care that our Mother Mary has for all of us and how she helps us through our life's struggles.

Once I started reading this book I did not want to put it down till I had finished reading. Therefore the 5 star rating. Explains the everyday struggles of people wanting to turn to Jesus and Mary in a way that we can relate to. Everybody should read this book if they can. It is definitely worth spending time.
