Much better than models by different vendors.
This was my second attempt at purchasing a working programming cable. In my first attempt (different vendor) the order was shipped to the wrong place, then arrived 3 weeks after scheduled. When the product did arrive, it did not work. It was a pirated knock off of the actual product, which the vendor refused to admit. When I purchased this one: It arrived on time as expected. It is the actual one manufactured by the Baofeng company. It works perfectly. Easy installation and use.Wish I had purchased from this vendor to begin with! AAA+ product!

Works When Others Did Not
If you own one of the baofeng radios do yourself a favor and get this programming cable. It makes it much more efficient than programming manually. I had issues with cheap cables that were supposed to be compatible but were not. Do it right the first time and get this one.

Cable Works Well
I used this cable for programming my BTECH (Baofeng) UV-5X3. It worked properly. It seems to be a good programming cable.

Disable Power Management in Windows
WARNING: This cable may cause your radio to transmit when its attached. If you're using this on Windows, go into Device Manager, find the device under Ports, open Properties and Power Management tab, uncheck and boxes. Then turn off your radio before connecting the cable. Now it should be safe to turn on the radio and use programming tools like CHIRP.

Quality item from the manufacturer
Cable enable you to flash and load specific frequencies into your radio. I would have given Tech Support 6 stars if I could. very helpful and friendly. They led me step by step through the process, only for me to find out I had a piece of defective hardware (not theirs, but mine!) When I removed it, everything worked as it should. The issue was on my side. Great support!!

It just works
Some reviews seem to indicate problems using a cable to connect the Baofeng radio to a PC. This item was made directly by Baofeng and worked like a charm. I had no trouble hooking it up to the chirp software.

Front end and Back end
So yeah the cable worked, but the real gold was the support that came afterwords from the team at Mirkit Radio. They sent me a link to DL the correct software, and even some pre-loads for radio Freqs. The Software was pretty easy to understand of you've worked with Radios before (Radio guy in the Army). If you new to radios you gotta do your homework, and I mean lots of it as far as whats legal and whats not. As for the cable its helping me stay within the Legal spectrum and operate at maximum efficiency.
