This was exactly as described and has worked very well for the last month. It was bought as a power supply for a portable stereo using a 12 v car receiver. It runs for several hours on a charge and takes several hours to recharge but I have not timed that exactly. It does not get warm and is way less money than most battery packs of a similar capacity. My only complaint and it is a small one, is that you must unplug the 12 volt output socket to put in the charging cord. It also requires you to know that the power switch must be on in order to charge the unit. Even if off, the indicator lights come on, giving you the impression something is happening. So, be sure you read the instructions before using it. Although it states it will put out 5v usb, I do not think I would have bought this unit for a 5v usb battery pack. There are similar packs of similar capacity that are much cheaper. However there were few for 12 v output. So it fills the bill very well and is much lighter and cheaper than an equivalent lead-acid 12 v battery. ***This is an update. I have had it for 10 months now and I use it for a few hours every weekend to power a portable USB speaker. It is still going strong and has been very reliable. Given that there are basically no other comparable units I am very happy with this unit. New update: I have had this unit for over 8 years and it is still running well. No failures, no problems except it takes a shorter time to deplete the charge. But for an 8 year old pack, it is doing really well. in fact, just because it is still working, I'm adding a star.

I purchased this item specifically to extend the battery life of a mini HD camera that overlooks my front door and sidewalk for security purposes. I also purchased this item in particular because of the many positive product reviews. So now I will contribute one as well because those reviewers were absolutely right. This was my first purchase of any type of portable battery pack, so I was unsure of what I needed specifically. I came upon this product because the description specifically mentioned use for wireless/hidden cameras. After reading the reviews, I purchased this item and I was not disappointed. It truly extends the battery life of my camera, and not just by a small amount. It's added several hours of additional runtime. I cannot fairly give an estimate as the battery usage depends on how often my camera is triggered by motion. But on average, it has at least extended the battery life by 10 hours - and that is a fair estimate as I do not wish to create higher than normal expectations as I'm sure it varies amongst devices used. The maximum hours of extended battery life I have achieved is somewhere between 48 and 50 hours of additional runtime, however, that does include the 7-8 hours of battery life from the camera itself. To summarize, this device has been such a fantastic and helpful addition to my camera setup. It's easy to use, easy to recharge, the AC adapter includes a small status indicator light on the plug that displays red for charging/needs charging and green for fully charged. There are also 5 very small status indicator lights on the actual battery pack itself. I'd like to personally thank all those who left honest product reviews as this was what determined and encouraged me to purchase this specific item. It's great for a host of other items which I realize I did not include, but that is simply because I have only used this item for one specific purpose. I cannot comment on other applications as it would not be a honest assessment. I do highly recommend this battery for anyone searching for an affordable solution and quality portable battery pack!

This was recommended by another company and lots of other people have purchased this very battery pack for the same reason I bought it. I already knew it was a good quality product and the right size to fit into my e-spinner casing. My bigger spinner needed more power and this pack was recommended so I as not to burn out the motor using a battery pack that wasn't strong enough. I would buy this again if I needed to. I can't tell you how long each charge lasts because I haven't used it enough to run the battery pack down yet.

This is my first TalentCell product and I was a bit hesitant to order it based on the mixed reviews of the several various models on Amazon. I ended up ordering the 12volt with the usb port thinking it would be the most versatile. I just received it today and it arrived in good shape. I have tested the usb port by test charging my cellphone from it and tested the 12 volt port by running a small single din car stereo in my office. It seems to work well for both purposes. I can actually use both power sources at the same time with no problems which is very nice feature. I can also power the radio while the battery is charging, which is also a nice feature. The battery pack came only partially charged so I'm going to let it fully charge overnight before I give it a good workout tomorrow. My planned usage for this is to power the car stereo as a portable boom box. I suspect I will also get good use out of this as an extended battery for my Go Pro camera when I need more than 45 - 50 minutes of recording time. Update: Just to see how long the battery would last on a single charge, I connected it to my 12 volt car stereo. It ran from 10:42am to 6:15pm and it never got hot or dropped below a voltage that the car stereo couldn't handle. I left the house with 1 green light still showing and came back 3 hours later and the car stereo had powered off and the battery just had the single red light lit up. I don't know exactly what time it shut off, but the 7+ hours that I was there to enjoy it was more then long enough for my needs.

I bought this battery five years ago and it is still going strong. I made a custom lapdesk that has an 11” monitor powered by the 12 volt outlet, an Orange PI H3 or Raspberry Pi 3B+ (depending on application) powered by the USB outlet, with plenty of room on the homemade lapdesk for a keyboard & mouse. I still get around 4 hours of usage with the little monitor at 75% brightness and the ARM SOC doing its thing.

Works great with Milwaukee M12 heated gear, and is far more comfortable than the original battery. BIG CON - this battery does not 'store' well, it needs to be actively used and charged, after a few months of non-use mine was dead.

This is my first of two Talentcell battery pack purchases. I have both the 6 and 3 amp battery packs. I have reviewed the 3amp on amazon.ca. both are 5 star. I've had it for a couple weeks and I use it to power my Milwaukee heated hoodie. My standard procedure is as follows: Start the power level on the hoodie at full heat for 15 to 20 minutes, then turn it down to low. This keeps me warm outdoors in weather that goes down to -20°c. It's cold in Canada. This battery lasts easily up to 10 hours and still has 3 lights left. My guess it would easily last around 15 hours. The shape and size is a little bigger than a fat cell phone. The benefit is that it doesn't stick into your body like the M12 batteries from Milwaukee. The battery lies flat in the pocket. It also last 5 times longer. The M12 3 amp battery lasts only about 3 hours and that size sticks uncomfortably into your body. The Talentcell is flat. I don't notice it when sitting in the car. If you want a smaller and lighter version. Go for the Talentcell 3 amp. It lasts about 8 hours plus. I would buy it again, for a Christmas present to friends with the heated jackets

I needed a 12v battery supply for a portable audio recording system I had put together and this fits the bill perfectly. I run a 8ch Zoom F8n recorder which cannot run direct from USB power unlike my older Zoom H4n so I needed a new power solution to run it. This works perfectly and has just the features you need. - 12v DC output suitable for a range of applications - USB power output - Simple LED battery display which isn't distracting - Physical toggle power switch - NO AUTO-OFF! One issue I have had with some USB power banks is they will power off if no power is drawn. This was an issue on my last recording setup if I disconnected a phantom mic the power draw from the recorder and the small mixer was so little the power bank would power off so I had to leave a mic always connected if I needed at a notice. This battery has power enough to last all day with my setup and can easily power strip lights and other 12v gear too. It was so useful I purchased 2 of these. Came back to just update my review simply to say I purchased mine in 2018 at a cost of $59aud, not on sale just the price at the time. I now see these are $149aud. Needless to say I haven't bought from Amazon for some time as I find it is kind of a ripoff all round these days but there you are.

I purchased this battery specifically for my Milwaukee 12v heated sweater, because the shape fits nicely in the sweater pocket. This battery has never died on me during a workday. I could run full heat for 6 hours if needed. I got the usb version and I love also having a portable charger with me for any device that might need it! I was also pleased to find out it could power my wife's breast pump, a bonus for us when traveling! I recommend matching the power requirements/input type for anything else you're hoping to power with this product before buying.
