Apollyon Rising 2012: The Lost Symbol Found and the Final Mystery of the Great Seal Revealed Paperback – January 1, 2009

This is an incredible read and brings to light much of what everyone needs to know. I couldn't put this book down - ask my wife. Horn exposes the slippery-slope that we are on as a species, especially concerning biotech engineering and research. There are many "Aha moments" as I read. This book is a clarion call to all who profess to be Christians to wake up to the forces that are behind the push for a one world government. He very logically demonstrates the meaning of, and spiritual forces behind, the many national symbols that we take for granted - the Great Seal and pyramid on the one-dollar bill, and the lay-out of Washington, DC to name a few. His argument is that with the use of these symbols, and others, our national leades have knowingly, or sometimes unknowningly, opened us up to spiritual attack from the "powers and principalities from the heavens" (Ephesians 6), and the implications of such. Horn dispells all the hyperbole about 2012 but logically spells out why this date is important and what we can do about it - it was not just the Mayans who saw this year as one of great change, there were many pagan cultures who made the same predications! He gives evidence that our country was founded not by Christians, but by people with very nefarious and evil intentions - despite what Glen Beck may say. Buy this book. Share it and spread the word. Apollyon Rising 2012 is the second book I have read by Thomas Horn and I highly recommend it for all people who are interested in knowing what the truth is in regards to America and our founding. Horn is a top notch researcher, he is not sensational, and all of his books have been wonderful reads for me so far.Recently his newest book FORBIDDEN GATES (which is not yet for sale on Amazon until 2/11) has been flying off the shelves of Horn's publishing company, and I received one of the first copies. I have not been able to put down FORBIDDEN GATES either - it's packed with wonderful connections to other cultures, it's biblical and Tom and Nita Horn share personal experiences that make the book not only more fun to read, but also make it more understandable. I HIGHLY recommend anything Tom and Nita Horn produce - I'm a new reader and will make sure to read whatever they write.

And if he didn't, he still has written an invaluable book.Intended what, will you ask.Writing with so much passion, research and minute details about the "gods" of antiquity, and their current "offspring", one gets so RIVETED by story that one actually begins to truly believe that for a religion (under the umbrella of "pagan") to have survived for so long, then it must truly be the one religion to follow.One discovers that, indeed, "mainstream" christianity, i.e. as derived from the Nicean council, is nothing but a parody, a remake of an older, anti-deluvian way of life, way of worship, all elements are here. Jesus is indeed Osiris (also born Dec 25th from a virgin), the catholic cult of the Virgin Mary is a remake of the Isis worship, the "saints" are a reflexion of the gods' Pantheon, the whole symbology in fact is interchangeable, only the actual "deities"' names are different.Through this book, Mr. Horn clearly demonstrates the superiority of the human being willing to attain his highest nature, versus the human being lulled to sleep and oblivion by some organization (the church) that deflects the High Quest through forcing the worship of a man (Jesus), making him, hollywood-style, an idol, a god, an appollo, and then cannibalizing him (termed "holy communion")to incorporate his essence (also a pagan custom).After masterfully juggling the words and nuances, Mr. Horn leads one to discover for himself that all is a question of terminology, but that the archetypes per se are still the same since the dawn of humanity.And considering that, one reaches the inevitable conclusion that what is termed "antichrist" (or Seth, or Satan, or Lucifer) by some could well be the Christ/Osiris/ Appolo of others..And although the book does not, in its scope, induce one to make a choice, its overall energy calls one to surpass himself and indeed become shackle-free.. This book is heavy on historical information and was obviously written by an expert. It lived up to my expectations by providing a lot of scholarly information about how the pagan gods and beliefs fit into the Illuminati and Masons and it also crosses that information with Biblical prophecy. It will take some time to digest it. There is a concise preface by Chris Pinto which had me looking for books by him - his style grabbed my attention and was shorter and easier for me to follow, however, it isn't a detailed work like Dr. Horn's. I am glad to have this book because it's very informative and will serve as a reference for me as I research this topic more.

I got this book about one month ago and read it the moment it arrived from Amazon. I was STUNNED at the depth of research Mr. Horn presented! I have every one of Tom Horn's books and bar-none, this one is his masterpiece. I decided to read it a second time last week and I got so much more detail that time around. You just can't get everything presented here in only one quick read, trust me on this. This book will upset Evangelical Christians (of which I am one) preconceived views that our founding fathers established America to be a Christian nation. That was hard to digest but Mr. Horn quotes from the documents these men themselves penned. Mr. Horn also nailed the hidden meanings of the symbols of freemasonry, something Dan Brown completely missed in his book The Lost Symbol, originally titled The Lost Key of Solomon by the way. Though Dan Brown's book is fiction based on (some) facts, Tom Horn's book is not fiction and is based on hard and provable evidence. Buy an extra copy to loan out because after you've read this you won't want to part with your copy. It's that good!

This is a very interesting book, looking at events as they unfold, in the light of biblical prophesy. The book is, however, written before 2012, so the speculation of what great changes or even destruction could take place in 2012, is of course without such great meaning, as we look back to 2012. It may be that, behind the scenes in the spiritual and political world, more has happened than we are aware of. I found the book fascinating and would definitely recommend it.

The awesomeness of this book will NEVER be overstated. An absolute masterpiece, testament to the great, prodigious intellect of Tom Horn. Awe-inspiring! Christians thirsty for some vital pieces of the Big puzzle - look no further!

The information in this book is phenominal. Whether you already have extensive knowledge or very little, this book is easy to read and covers extensive historical information that will amaze any reader. It is a book I highly recommend to others who are seeking answers to much of what goes on in the world - past, present and future. One of the best books I have read!
