The media could not be loaded.  Works great for cleaning the grill and turning food over without burning your hands.I did push it a little by going a little higher than the max recommend heat range and I pulled the grate out. I was able to hold the grate for around 5 seconds or so.I recommend letting the grate cool before handling it.I felt the heat but I didn't get burned.The gloves are easy to clean with soap and water.

I was hoping these gloves would stand the heat of my smoke box for my electric smoker. The smoke box gets super hot and has killed several pot holders, including some with the rubberized material on them. I was a bit concerned that these would take the heat since these looked like a rubber material similar to what is on the pot holders. I'm glad to say I was wrong, I was able to pull the smoke box out and these gloves didn't seem phased at all. I was able to use them to pull my pork shoulders from the smoker with ease as well. Very happy with the purchase..If I had one complaint it's that the inside material on these is white, which can get stained by meat juices, marinades, beer, margaritas, etc... I'll accept it as building character. The outside of these are easy to wash, put them on, dip them in some sudsy water and just clean them like you are washing your hands.

Just received on time as ordered. At over six foot was concerned about fit. They work. Will update if there are issues in future.

I purchased these gloves and after a couple uses, I noticed the stitching for the hanging loop had come undone. I was quite disappointed as I had never even hung them up so I am almost sure it was a quality issue. I contacted Geekhom via email with a picture of the glove and copy of my invoice and after a few days they responded telling me another pair was on the way. About a week later, a brand new pair showed up and I am extremely satisfied.As for the gloves themselves, in my opinion, they are of good quality. I understand the stitching came undone, but for one, I'm not 100% certain I didn't cause the issue and two, the new pair seems to be just fine. The silicone is much less rigid than I expected which is a GOOD thing because I feel as if I get better dexterity while using them. The lining is nice and soft making the gloves very comfortable overall. I have another pair of silicone gloves that are very rigid and a pain to use, also, they have no lining so they almost feel sticky directly against my skin. Needless to say I won't be using them anymore!The only "con" I would have is that after using them for a brisket cook (Pick up a brisket to wrap, move, and take off grill), the smokey smell was still attached to them after washing. It's not very strong and I have to put it up to my nose to pick up the scent, but it is still there nonetheless. Not a big deal to me at all. Would definitely recommend.

Water proof is a must, especially if you use the ringer to clean your cast iron. I can hold a 420 deg heavy cast iron pot for 10 seconds before I have to put it down. This is no better or worse than the “1,500 degree fire prove gloves”. The only difference was that these are waterproof and I honestly thing more comfortable. I’d give them 5 stars, but my leather pot holder, pot clam, handle cover let me hold the same temperature for 30 seconds or more. Turns out leather is the best protection against heat out there, this is why most welding gloves are leather, even thin, white leather, leather is the best!.....unless it gets wet, then it will scald you in seconds. This is where these gloves come in, sure they aren’t as heat resistant as leather, but they are allot more versatile than leather. Don’t hesitate to buy.

These people showing pictures with their hands outside the gloves saying they fit large hands. Notice they barely fit . Once you put your hand inside you discover that the thumb is tiny you can barely close your fist. these are not for large hands. This is the second pair I've bought and both were just too small. I never have trouble buying gloves. My oven mitts all fit my hand. When I buy sized gloves I buy large but not extra large.

Nice gloves with a cute heart pattern (delivered on valentines day, which was sweet). Can't feel any heat through them and the glove itself is quite big (I have a glove size 8 and still plenty of room). However, the fingers are very short and it is a bit difficult to pick up smaller items with them.Update: after using these gloves for a while, I abolutely love them and don't need to use any heat protection anymore. I've done many things with them now, so I can say you can insert your hands with these gloves in boiling water and you'll feel nothing. I use them to pick up stuff from grill and not burn off hair on my arm. Only time I felt some heat go through them is with my Dutch oven-if you hold hot cast iron pot with these for a while, yep, you're going to feel some warmth. Still, best kitchen gloves I've ever had.

These do a great job of protecting from heat and are really easy to clean if you don't get food or grease on the gauntlet. They go up the arm a good ways so you can stick your hands into the heat source pretty far. I use them both for grilling and in the kitchen. They are perfect for grabbing large chunks of meat in the smoker or reaching into the grill to grab something. The only downside to these gloves, like other reviews have said, is if you have really large hands. I have small hands and they are a perfect fit. If you have small to medium size hands, then these are the gloves for you. If you have large, and definitely extra large hands, you'll need to go with something else.

I got these after having an (ahem..) incident with a previous pair of oven gloves involving a lot of smoke and a little bit of fire. I wanted something more durable that would stand up to the heat of an oven or bbq and give a little bit of coverage and protection to my arms as well. These gloves are great! The silicone means they are very grippy and the fingers mean you can easily handle things that are tricky or require a bit of dexterity. They’re a good size protecting both my hands and lower arms and are incredibly heat resistant meaning you can hold on to things far longer than you might be able to with more typical fabric gloves. They’re great value for money too and arrived promptly without issue. The hooks in each glove are also a great feature and they hang well and easily in my kitchen.All in all, do your hands and lower arms a favour and get a pair of these. Makes cooking a far less dangerous enterprise for you. A sound investment in your cooking and safety. When I first used the gloves they were staggering. Couldn't feel any heat at all, finally I have found a glove that can withstand taking roast potatoes out of the oven. This was in February this year.Fast forward to April this year and........the photo says it all. I noticed that the glove let heat in and I, only slightly, burned the web of my thumb. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the glove has SPLIT....so, I cannot return them as they are more than 2 months old (just). I am going to email Geekhom directly and see what they can do.Not what I expected from a really good set of gloves - such a shame to be honest - disappointed :(***UPDATE***So, I emailed Geekhom directly, explaining the product fault. They are replacing the gloves free of charge. So I have added 2 stars for their excellent customer service.

I brought this for work as the oven gloves at my place of work are small, and since I have large hands Its hard to find a one fit all size oven glove, so I was amazed when this arrived, it fitted perfect and easy to put off and take off.Heat resistance is really good, ill give this a 4/5 for heat resistance. When it comes to cleaning I found it very easy, I normally wear the gloves and wash them in the sink and does the job and makes it a lot easier. Lastly is durability, with most common oven gloves you have one gap for the thump and the rest all share one pouch, but with these you get each finger placement separate from each other, so gripping is so much more easier.Overall if you want a decent pair of oven gloves for a nice price look no further, and if you have large hands then your in the right place.

Love these!!! Worked amazing dealing with screaming hot pans of roasted veggies going in & out of the oven at 450°.... I am thrilled that I will no longer have to worry about burning myself!!These gloves are very sharp looking. Love the little black heart pattern all over them!! Super cute. Try picking up a cast iron skillet with a tea towel, then try it with these.I have burned my hand doing just that, and now I know I can handle the skillet with no worries.I have picked boiled eggs straight out of the boiling water with them.Getting hot trays out of the over no worries.These make oven glove worth having, I love them.Easy to clean, throw them in the washing machine.I have medium hands, and they fit well, the wife has tiny/small hands, and she says they are to big.I would buy a new pair if needed in a hart beat, I will never go back to the old style oven gloves again ever.
