Sturdy and Reliable Risers for Furniture
This is a very supportive lift for a bed and allows for great storage space to be created by using them! Six of them in a package, reasonably priced at 19.99!

Sturdy, suited my needs perfectly
I bought a trundle frame to put a twin mattress close to the floor for my tripod dog. He didn't like being on the floor. So I bought these, & it raised the trundle frame by 6 inches or so. Perfect height, suits my spoiled dog nicely now. I bought 2 sets of these boosters as I needed 6 to adequately support the frame, which folds in the middle. With the addition of the 2 boosters in the middle of the frame, it is extremely sturdy now. I haven't slept on it, but feel confident that I or any other average sized person could very easily. My trundle frame wheels (all 6 of them) fit perfectly down into the 'dents' in the top of these boosters. The wheels don't roll around in these boosters at all. This was the perfect economical solution for me to raise the bed off the ground, without having to purchase another new frame entirely. A surprisingly great purchase for my needs.

Want a hirer bed? These work and they are dirt cheap!
It started with my finding a free storage unit offered on Craigslist.com to fit underneath my twin-size bed. However, I didn't figure the unit would mean I'd need to take 4 paint cans to put underneath the 4 legs, to elevate the bed enough to accommodate the free storage unit. Did I tell anyone that I'd already taken the time to sand and paint with a very high gloss white gloss paint with multiple coats, so that the surface shines and looks most beautiful? Well, I did. Then, at 76, I lugged this thing out of my garage and into the spare bedroom with the twin bed. That's when I found out that I had to find gallon paint cans to elevate the bed high enough to accommodate this free storage unit. Then, I went on a foray to find what I could use to elevate this bed. I went to a local well-known home building store with the initials of HD. The salesman said, "We've never heard of anything like this. All we have are sliders to push the bed around." I told him that I had seen the units in their store before. That person called over another person, who turned his face away from me and speaking to the wind to his south, he said, "We used to, but now you have to go on our website on the Internet to find these risers." Of course, I had to have him face me and repeat the message again, so that I could hear him over the noisy conditions in this store. And, I did check their website. Nope. They didn't have any risers here either. So, I decided to really investigate this issue. I spent an entire evening surfing the Internet striving to find a decently priced riser system. Wow! Did I find some "expensive jewels?" The most expensive ones were hand-made, using Birch, or Alder, or something like that, which had sawed off (but decently sanded) edges, and then covered with a coat or two of Varathane. Screws were used to affix the squares together. Each riser was priced in excess of $100. That so impressed me! Of course I knew I could haul out my skill saw, my table saw, my jig saw, my ... saw, and I could create my own risers; but, I wanted to solve this problem on the cheap. After all, I'd already spent a lot of money on the paint for the "free storage unit" from Craigslist. So I kept surfing. Finally, I fould these risers at amazon.com! They are PERFECT! You have so many options, and I have so many options. For a little more than $20 (and not the $100s of dollars wanted by other manufacturers or the lack of any solutions due to the ignorance of sales folks in a store), I can raise the foot (or the head) of my bed either 4 inches, 6 inches, or I can put the 4" ones on top of the 6" ones and replace the paint cans and have a solid and secure base for the 4 legs to the bed that perfectly accommodates this 9" high free Craigslist underbed storage unit. Because that "Free Below Bed Storage Unit" from Craigslist needed 9", I opted to put the two rubberized units together. Pretty neat. Worked great. Then, even though I am 76, it was a walk in the park to raise a leg, toggle the unit under the leg (remember, the other 3 legs already have a paint can under each leg) and thus, replace the paint cans with these rubberized units. I couldn't be happier. And, my cat, Little Socks, immediately adopted this higher bed as her vantage point from which she can watch the birds outside. What a deal! Glad I got to Amazon.com and found a provider of these risers!

A must have for surgery follow up. They are awesome
I just had a hip replacement surgery and had the forethought of ordering these ahead of time. I’m using them on my couch and they make getting up and down so easy. The price was excellent and they are very durable. They’d be great for raising a bed frame too

Cracked in just over 1 year
Purchased in January of 2024. Had the unit at the headboard end crack and the bed leg with caster fell into it today, March of 2025. I haven't taken the others off yet to see if they're holding up or not. I don't jump on the bed, though my dogs do. I DO sleep only on that side of the bed and mostly up close to the headboard (on my side). The 3 dogs like to sleep ON me or up close and personal, and weigh about 200lbs combined. I'm about 185, so all 385lbs from me and the dogs was really only on the one riser that broke. I'd have to go back and look at the description to see what the weight capacity is, but I suspect it's not what I've been putting on it. I don't know how long these things are supposed to last, but for $10 I think I got my money's worth. They did work well while they lasted - bed was raised a full 6", tall enough to get my crossbow hardcase under the bed and 2 rifle cases stacked on top of each other. The bed didn't slide around at all while on them. In fact, it was hard to move the bed once I had it up on the risers. I'm guessing if you're not as heavy as my dogs and I combined, these risers will last much longer and ARE a good value.

Careful, scratches wood floors. *Updated*
* 10/30/13 Edited to add that these will scratch wood floors. Just found this out. :/ You may want to add a rug or cloth underneath these, or line them somehow if your floors aren't carpeted. I cannot recommend these now knowing they will ruin expensive wood floors. I don't need the extra space that bad. ***********************Original review************* Just received these yesterday, gave me the room I wanted for under bed storage but we had to remove them 5 minutes after going to bed. We have a king size bed that has 6, not 4 wheels/legs. These are a pack of 4....I'm buying another set to get the extra two I needed. Price went up since I bought the 1st set 2 days ago. The problem we had with ours was when we got into bed we noticed we weren't laying flat, we were actually tilting towards the center of the bed? Turns out I hadn't thought to check before I bought these that we had 6 wheels/legs on the bed and that by propping up the 4 corner ones it left the 2 center ones UP in the air so the frame would sag down in the middle of the bed when anyone was in the bed. Thought just propping up on the corners would be good, but nooooo those extra support legs/wheels are important too! LOL would not have been good at all to have our bed frame break in the middle of the night! x_x Anyway, during the time the 4 were under the corner wheels it was easier to make the bed, clean under the bed, place larger storage containers underneath, etc. The bottom of the risers stick out a bit, which is great for support but wonder how long before a stray toe catches one while walking by in the middle of the night. Sitting on the edge of the bed was not as comfortable though, my feet dangled. Will see how it goes when I get the extra ones and put these back on our bed. If you are looking to raise up your bed, these really are heavy duty and sturdy. Just make sure you buy enough for the support legs on your bedframe and I'm sure you will be happy with them. *Edited to add: Added the 2 extra for center support legs after receiving the 2nd set. Don't know what I'll do with the extra 2 in the box since I only needed 2 more and these are so sturdy and heavy duty I doubt I will have to replace any of them. These work great on the bed, my legs still dangle when I sit on the edge but that's fine. These also feel very sturdy and the bed feels secure on them as well. As sturdy as it felt when it was just on the floor...only difference is the height of the bed.

Excellent product
I bought these for my new Kivik IKEA 2&3 seater sofa & footstool I have turned them upside down and sofa sits on top you. cannot get legs for this item and these bed risers are excellent and do the job perfectly I needed three sets for two sofa and footstool. I bought these ones because they are unbreakable and this does not affect my ten year guarantee I received with sofas and footstool because I have not screwed them into the bottom of sofa I have just put blue tack onto bed risers and seems to be holding. For me it seems to be an excellent product very happy.

Not good value
Difficult to position all four at once and two snapped at bottom ,though it was only the trim on base .I sent them back .They do heighten the bed but are hollow plastic and not durable enough .
