The straw expands well, with enough resistance that it won't just slide back down while you're using it. The cleaning rod also expands which I was impressed with and the tube it comes in fits nice on my keys and feels very secure. My only complaint is that I bought this to reduce my plastic waste and it came wrapped in plastic.

Straw works great, telescoping is smooth both in and out and the included brush makes cleaning it an absolute breeze; plus the little carry case is solid and protects it from any kind of pocket borne hazards. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone interested in reducing the amount of plastic straws they use (and avoiding those awful paper ones some places hand out now)

Small enough to carry around in a bag or even a pocket and comes in a carry pod/case so it stays clean and after using doesn't make your bag etc sticky. The straw pulls out to full length so great to use in tall glasses. So easy to be greener when out and about by carrying this reusable straw. I will purchase for my daughters too.

Came wrapped in plastic (not great). The straw itself is alright though a completely pointless purchase in hindsight. I’ve used it twice and it functions as described, the portable case is good. You’re honestly better just not using a straw at all if you can help it, otherwise I guess this is slightly better alternative.

Fantastic product. Easy to carry and simple to use. Superb option for the plastic straws. Nice to be able to shorten and lengthen for a small cup of tea/coffee or a larger milkshake. Comes in a carry case with cleaner also. Would recommend.

Great little devise will be very useful. One point for the retailers; I am buying this (& I presume others are also) to reduce plastic waste, yet it comes in plastic packaging. Why not replace this for a paper bag.
