It does the tick and great price

It makes a weird whine when my automatic pet water bowl is filling up, but that's probably because the flow is low. No noise when the hose is running through the Y I attached after it.

Made sounds from it that echoed into the house plumbing. If you shut water off, stand back quickly will get your shoes wet. But overall, worked well. Took it off later mainly because of the sounds.

It’s just a simple backflow breaker, simple task. Noisy! Buzzing sound when using hose. I didn’t know where the sound was coming from until I tried my front hard breaker and it didn’t make a sound. Reviews complain about this issue. It might be luck of the draw but I drew a noisy one. Returned and would not recommend.

It seems to be doing what it is supposed to do. It does make some funny noises in the house as the water pressure rises and falls, but that might just be my pipes.

A good product which provides effective back-flow prevention. Well priced!

At first, I connected one of these to the outside hose connection that goes to dual water filters to remove chlorine. What I noticed is that when we used the cold water in the kitchen sink, it would cause this to pop water out of it, which I guess is by design. The actual problem is that the outside hose pipe is connected directly to the kitchen cold water pipe. So any back pressure there causes the valve to open and close. But this isn't an issue with this one-way valve. When I put the 2nd one at the other end of the house, there was no issue.

Wouldn't shut off, sprays a lot of water and vibrates the whole house. Only lasted 3 months.
